  1. Hi Debbie

I'm Jamie and I live in Las Vegas I am 39 years young😄 will hit the small 40 in April. I am 5-10 and weigh between 200-205 I would like to get down to 150. Sadly I don't eat healthy. My taste buds actually don't like a lot of health food and I hate exercising. Mainly because I like to be outdoors but not so much doing things by myself so I slack off exercising. I am going to cancun in December and would love to lose 15 lbs but I think that's too much too soon. I leave December 7th So I think I will aim for 10 lbs. my problem is not quantity but quality I work a lot of hours and don't have a lot of time to prepare better food but I need to find time. I want to start to walk or do insanity daily except maybe Sunday's starting November 2 nd I have cut back on my fast food runs but doesn't seem to be helping much. I am going to start tomorrow with weighing myself daily and looking at what I eat to see where I should cut back.

I would love for you to join me in our journey to lose weight and yell at me for crap I eat and encourage for good I do. Might be a lot of yelling at first. Lol I will worth myself tomorrow and post the weight and see how we can do encouraging each other. I use this app from my phone. Also if you want my email is jktheangel@yahoo.con

  2. How heart breaking. I was on my first cruise in the 90's and we stopped there right after a massive hurricane hit. We were the first ship. We had to be tendered because the dock was destroyed We got off the ship and my heart was shattered. The devastation back then ( can't remember hurricane name ) was too much for me. After that. I vowed to go back and see the island and all its glory because I did not want the sad images in my head. I have since been there 2 x and will be there again in April. I hope and pray it's not as bad as it was in the 90's and they can recover quickly. Prayers to all affected.

  3. Just to clarify....please use the number I have given to each items to let me know what you would like.....it appears in the title. There are two items listed that have the same number. I photographed the back so that the detail of the item could be seen. Once someone selects an items, I will delete the picture.

There is a salmon gown in the group that is a Misses 16-18 NWT that would be lovely on formal night for someone. There are a few XL items, however the majority of the items are 1X and 2X. None have been worn over 3X's and there are a couple tagged items. Email me at islandgirlejfan@yahoo.com . All I'm looking for is postage for the items.

I don't see numbers when I view the slide show. I sent you an email though. Thank you for sharing

I have only posted in here a few times but I want you to know that I loved the dresses you posted and if I were a smaller size I would have taken one or two :) I also want to counter act the negative person by telling you a short story. End of June I found a large lump in my breast and thru all the test and worrying and crying. Etc I turned to this thread and read the latest and saw the beauty you have. It kept me busy in the doctors office. Everyone on this thread kept me coming back for more. I have never met you but can tell you have a great heart. I hope all the positive comments here can over come the negative person. Please take care and I pray that all ends up well with you. By the way. They do not think my lump is cancer. Phew. God is great. Sorry just had to post the impact this thread has had on me.

  5. Has anyone been on the Navigator since its make over? There was some discussion about the "coffee tables" being taken out and to be redesigned. Were they put back in? We have a Promenade Room on Dec 7th sailing and think I would enjoy sitting in the window seat people watching with room service, hence the need for the little table.

This will be our third cruise, first on RCCL. Our first cruise was at Halloween on Carnival. It was so much fun to see all the different door decorations and how creative cruisers can be. Since we are sailing in December this time, I will probably do something Christmasy.

My only tip to add to all the great advice presented here is to relax and enjoy, don't sweat the small stuff--its not worth upsetting your vacation. Does it really matter if someone cuts in front of you to grab a roll? Or if someone is holding a table? Do you really care what others think of you--you will most likely never see these people again. Who cares if they judge whether you should be using the elevator or stairs! You will meet many really nice, interesting people on board and a few real jerks. Ignore the jerks and enjoy the other passengers. If you get the chance to share your table--by all means do. Be the first to say hello and start a conversation, you will be rewarded.

I went in April and we didn't have a table either and I am one of those who were glad. It have more room. We did have 2 chairs and a very small table on the balcony. Never ran I to any crowds the whole cruise or long lines except Johnny rockets towards the end of the cruise. Had great service all around and our room attendant was awesome. We bought erasable markers and would leave her a note on the mirror if we needed something or just wanted to say thank you to her and she would write back a note or draw a picture. The WJ had great food and never a wait except for the made to order omelets. I would go again in a heartbeat except not out of Galveston. To hard for travel arrangements. Have fun and enjoy. If you go to Cozumel. Look up mr sanchos. Great price and awesome time

  6. I think all these nasty sarcastic responses are being written by those people who didn't get educated and make reasonable choices for their own protection ......and now a mosquito bit them and it is effecting their brain. If the only thing you have to do, is get on cc and make nasty comments, you truly have more problems then anyone who would be unfortunate enough to get this virus.

  7. I went to mr sanchos and there was like 6 or 7 ships and I lived mr sanchos. The waiters were a little busy but they literally ran in the sand to get your drinks and food. I would go back there in a heartbeat. We were just there the end of April. If you drink alcohol drinks then you have to try the dirty monkey. It is so good The beach was nice and the pool bar was great. The sand was a little tough to walk in at times but the tables are very close to the water. Have fun and enjoy

  8. We needed to renew our passports - sent in the old passports and paperwork on March 25 - got the new one's in the mail today - quick turnaround ---- however, they did not return our old ones :(. I was under the impression that we got the old one's back too. Has anyone else renewed theirs recently and not gotten the old one back?

I renewed mine last august and got my old one back with a hole punched thru it and the new one now has a chip in it

  9. We are on a cruise starting April 19th. For us in the Midwest all K-12 and colleges have had spring break well before this date. But is this so for East and West coast schools?

Just curious if we are to expect a number of students on board for our POA trip. . . . all schools are out for the summer around mid to late May normally at home, but I know that isn't the case elsewhere.

Spring break differs in each state but most are still on spring break at the time of cruise. One helpful hint is school normally doesn't start again until after Easter at least. Easter here is the 20 of April this year. I am on a cruise starting the 20 out of Texas and there I spring breakers still

  10. We are just back from 2 weeks on Navigator. It has been our experience that tender tickets vary from ship to ship, and even from port to port. We needed tender tickets for the tender ports -- Grand Cayman and Belize. It is announced in the Cruise Compass and several times over the PA. There is sufficient notification on where the tickets are handed out -- on our sailing, the Star Lounge at the forward end of the Royal Promenade.

The Suite and Diamond Concierges periodically escorted guests down from the lounges.

Did you happen to notice if they had the free style coke machines? Thank you
