- The course in Cozumel closed in 2020 and probably will never reopen. I drove past it October2021and it has not been maintained at all so it would take $$$$ to renovate if someone want to buy it and try reopening. The Jack Nicklaus layout was great years ago, but the last few times I played there the course was not well maintained. I have played golf in Roatan, Curacao, St. Thomas and Puerto Vallarta also before while cruising. Some were booked on my own and some through Carnival. If you wanted to make a golf trip while cruising, I am sure with planning you could play in most ports on your trip.
Where did you golf in Roatan? How did you get there from the cruise port? I've heard taxis are not reliable.

Not sure if this has been reported already... It appears that Radiance is being replaced in Brisbane for the 2021-22 season.
The Brisbane port bookings are now in the name of Quantum of the Seas. The first entry is on Oct 30, 2021 which is consistent with this ship's departure from Honolulu on Oct 14, assuming New Zealand is skipped. This is followed by regular entries in the port calendar throughout the season. The last entry is on Apr 11, 2022.
https://www.portbris.com.au/Operations-and-Trade/Shipping-Schedule/
Radiance' arrival in Brisbane was on Oct 8, so the first few cruises of the season may be cancelled.
In addition, many of the cruises are now shorter (not surprising). This is particularly true of those having south pacific islands itineraries; these appear to have been split into 2 shorter cruises and/or just shortened. Perhaps they're planning on domestic only cruises (also no surprise).
If Quantum moves to Brisbane, which ship replaces her in Sydney?
Of course it could be a different Q-class ship going to Brisbane. I haven't looked for other tell-tale port entries yet.
Well that would be interesting, as we are currently booked on Radiance Jan 31 out of Brisbane for the Great Barrier Reef. I'd actually prefer Quantum, but it would be nice to know, especially if any of the itineraries have changed.

I booked Anthem for May and Odyssey for June to get my Quantum class fix in (just so I can see how dull they really are....!), in addition to the OY TA.
As someone who doesn't love sitting out on the pool deck, I much prefer Quantum class ships. At least there are indoor venues where you can see the sea, regardless of the weather. I can usually be found in Two70!

I wish Royal would make the possibility of doing a B2B2B with Australia with the Great Barrier Reef, NZ, and the South Pacific stops. Celebrity has that available, but oh, the pricing! Especially for me who travels solo, I can't justify the extra cost on Celebrity. And a circumnavigation would be amazing, too!

I would assume that time is money in their eyes. I don't think negotiating new ports and shore excursions would take a considerable amount of time. Maybe they are seeing how Wonder would fit into and work in this mess.
Around the horn? That would be a new sight for an Oasis Class ship!
I'm going on Princess around the horn in a few weeks, but I might actually do it again if Wonder takes the long way around!

Oops, I posted Odyssey as Oct 28-Nov 5. it's actually Oct 28-Nov 11. Sorry about that!

Wow, that would be a surprise! It is supposed to be home ported in Rome. They would have to have a one way to another port like Barcelona and then start the TA there. Thanks for letting us know!
I’m wondering if the TA will follow a Rome to the Holy Land cruise which might end somewhere other than Rome. That would be the best for me! 🤞🏻

I heard someone say the pricing for cruises is usually cheaper when they first release. The pricing is outrageous, but I hope to score a good deal as the sail date nears.
I agree, the pricing on some of these cruises is outrageous! I shudder to think what Odyssey Holy Land and TA will be.

This is at the bottom of the Odyssey flyer:
SUMMER 2021 Sailing from Rome, Italy 7-12 Night Mediterranean, Greek Isles and Holy Land
Is Holy Land a new itinerary?
Can you please post a screen shot of this? This is wonderful news as I really want to sail on Odyssey and we're planning the Holy Land for next year. 🥰

They have everything lined up to sell a TA... advertising, Port bookings..... it just has not opened for bookings yet! 👍😉
There is quite a bit of evidence it is happening but NO evidence of it not happening.... 😎
Don't get my hopes up only to let me down!!

It is not on sale yet to my knowledge....just some brochures and port bookings at this point.....
They might want to wait for building advancement before selling cabins....or they might want to change the starting point if Brexit happens.....🤔
My understanding is that the TA mentioned in the UK brochures is not actually going to happen. Odyssey will be traveling to the US empty. 😕 Sailings beginning Nov 5 are online and open for booking.

Deleted.....Never mind.....

Try this, from the Royal Caribbean UK site:
And then you can swap out the 14 in the URL for whatever deck you want to look at.

This, 100%!
Anyone here take Spectrum on either of the first 2 cruises to Asia? Did the crew have things together or was it a bit of a mess? I might consider skipping a TA if it's the first cruise sailing.
I was on Spectrum Barcelona to Dubai, and we were so impressed with how ready the ship was. I'd really had my doubts after seeing photos of the ship a week before the cruise, but the crew had everything ready for us. It was FABULOUS!

If you change the number after DECK you can see the other deck plans..if you pull DECK13 you'll see it has the Concierge Club aft where Spectrum's plans have rooms there.
I don't get a dropdown to change decks, just the photo of Deck 14. Thanks.
Never mind, I just changed the number in the URL so I can see the decks. Thanks.

To those who sailed and loved Spectrum already, what made her that much different from Quantum and ships in Quantum class?
Since we haven't yet seen deck plans for Odyssey, they may have re-done some of the areas. We were in JSs, and we had access to the Silver Lounge. We didn't even know about that when we booked the cabins, so it was a special treat for us. This was a wonderful area where we could have breakfast and lunch, and they had the cocktail hours there every night. That was the biggest difference, and we absolutely loved it! However, Spectrum was built with the Chinese market in mind, so this may not exist on Odyssey. It will also be interesting to see what they put in place of the Hot Pot restaurant that was on Odyssey.
