  1. It’s still a valid booking and you should be able to use it on sailing, just not the one you booked.
  2. At this time she’s the cheapest because of where she sails from.
  3. That site owns your booking and all substantial changes (like dining) need to go through them.
  4. You might want to ask in the Roll Call thread.
  5. That would have been interesting in the COVID days. Biker, who needs to resurrect some good ole COVID threads.
  6. Depends on the ship condition, but likely sometime after 10AM. That is different from check-in/arrival time.
  7. Welcome to CC. The existing cabins are very unlikely to be physically modified. They might be recategorized.
  8. Don't hold your breath for O class ships - unlikely they'll do anything different with the new terminal. With seven of them, there'll likely be years with two of them in the Med the same year and like some Florida ports, you'll see them in the 7 day rotation on Sat and Sunday. Maybe even 3 and 4 day rotation.
  9. The Amp of Oasis did very little to her fares - in general, all things equal, she's still cheaper than her newer sisters. The Allure Amp is in 2025 and it is yet to be determined the exact changes which will take place.
  10. The chances of RCI going bankrupt are not only close to zero, but deposits are held in escrow, so you'd likely get that back even if they did.
  11. "A deadline to put in bids for the American Queen Voyages (AQV) cruise fleet is nearing, as a Texas bankruptcy court has set March 25 at 4:00 p.m. local time as a deadline for interested parties to make qualified bids. The assets include four paddlewheel cruise ships for river operations, two coastal vessels and a summer charter deal for an expedition ship that extends to 2031. Parties are able to bid on individual assets or all of them, per court documents. Depending on the number of bids and their qualifications, an auction could be held to determine the winner. An auction, if necessary, would be held on March 27 at 9:00 a.m. local time. The winning bidder could be revealed as soon as March 27 if there is no auction, or March 28 following a potential auction. A deadline for objections is April 1." 12. A new terminal will be available. " Royal Caribbean Group won the tender to construct and operate Barcelona’s Terminal G, the seventh and last terminal at Adossat Pier. Port of Barcelona’s management board granted the approval to Catalonia Cruise Terminal G – a joint venture of Royal Caribbean Group and Cruise Terminals International. A JV of Norwegian Cruise Line, Viking and Virgin Voyages expressed interest in tendering for Terminal G last summer. Up and running for 2027 season Catalonia Cruise Terminal G anticipates an investment of over EUR 85m. It expects the new terminal to become operational in the spring of 2027, once Terminal South - World Trade Center is closed in 2026. Slated to be a zero-emissions building which utilises renewable energy, the terminal will generate power using photovoltaic panels among other technologies, while the wharf will be able to deliver shore power. Its presence is designed to serve and boost homeporting, part of the port's strategy to create added value for the city. New tender underway for building embankment The port’s management board today also approved the start of the tender process to build a maritime embankment out of rip-rap. It will serve as the first area for depositing materials from the dredging of the navigation channel which will be used for projects underway, such as the enlargement of the Adossat wharf, and future projects – like the new berthing points of the Energy wharf. The rip-rap where the redging materials will be deposited will span an area of 44.7 ha between the South seawall and the Prat wharf, with a depth of up to 16 mtr. The work also includes building a terrace for collecting and managing the material to facilitate the recycling of materials and avoid unnecessary transport to other locations. The tender's basic budget is €94m, excluding VAT, and the performance period is 27 months." Royal Caribbean wins the bid to operate Barcelona's Terminal G (seatrade-cruise.com) 🍿
  13. Her on board networking should be upgraded by now to provide a more reliable service. The Starlink internet connection to the ship is the same fleet wide.
  14. Many North America TAs book folks from all over the world. Citizenship is not a disqualifying criterion for such a booking. Neither is residence. Booking directly on the US RCI site from a different market may have some trip points - booking with a TA avoids that.
  15. The 24 hour package (which starts at the time you purchase it) is available on any device when connected to the on board wifi - it's usually $28,
  16. Set the app to the current sailing (not yours) and look under entertainment.
  17. You can't use it because the venue(s) are likely closed on port days for lunch. Look at the app to see when the venues might be open for lunch, including embarkation day.
  18. Yes, a TA would be good to have for such a booking. Talk about TAs is not allowed on CC.
  19. Welcome to CC. That would be cutting kinda close but doable if everything works on schedule. Most wouldn't chance it.
  20. I don't think there are any in "regular" cabins. As mentioned above, look at two cabins.
  21. Likely neither - it’s either a temporary IT glitch either with RCI or your browser.
