@Ajaxzorro@Barcolyn@bhappy-@Desertjoy@emmak8@Jacob0525@Janbcruiser@Joyful-Lady@lcds1too@Nancybell@PrincesserE@RaineyPark@Rebel1957@revh@ronvoyage@spunks@usmprez@VinHank@We_like_to_cruise We are just 5 weeks from sailing on 29 Oct 2022 on the Sky Princess. Most of the 90 members of the Roll Call have been active with 1,290 posts and planning 6 different activities like a Meet & Greet, Slot Pull, and others. We have not heard from you for a long time and are wondering if you are still booked on this sailing. I would like to cull names from the roster of anyone who has cancelled this booking. I know a lot of you are busy with other sailings and just getting on with life but if you aren't still booked please let us know by replying to this post or coming to the Roll Call to let us know. We also would like to know if you are still sailing with us. I hope to hear from you soon.
  4. There are 3 tabs at the bottom of the sheet. Click on "Managing Data" and you will find the directions there.
  5. Sure do. I sailed on her in July of 1987. Ships sure have evolved since then.
  6. Thanks for your prompt response. It appears that there has been a change in how text is handled. I will wait for a single digit date, left justify, and manually adjust the text. It is not the most desirable solution but it will have to do. I will keep checking just in case things change.
  7. I have encountered 2 problems that are most likely connected. For years on a threads for specific cruises I have done a weekly countdown usually starting around 10 weeks which a lot of people seem to like. On the roll call for my upcoming Enchanted Princess trans-Atlantic I encountered these 2 problems for the first time. Both problems have to do with the dancing number that people seem to like. They are gif files and in the past I have been able to put them on the same line, like for "1" and "0", and center the numbers. Now I can only put 1 number on a line and it will not center. If I put 2 numbers together they each go on separate lines and I cannot put them together. When I preview the posting it looks OK so the problem shows up on the online posting. I went back to November where I know it was working correctly but now the location behavior has changed. Take a look at boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2786341-enchanted-princess-10-days-easternsouthern-voyager-20-nov-2021/page/19/ (see posting 469). Here is an example from my Test Forum with 2 numbers https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2779576-experiments/#comment-63844259 (see posting 10) Has Cruise Critic changed how gifs are displayed? If there is a workaround how can I find out what it is?

    aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Weeks Until We Sail
  9. grouponboardservices@princesscruises.com is the address. There is no reason to wait but it would be good to have an idea how many people may be attending.
  10. Let us know if that doesn't work and I will give you a different contact.

Weeks Until We Sail Can't get both numbers on the same line and cannot center in edit
  12. Thanks for showing the correct address to contact to set up a Meet & Greet. There is a lot of good information on the link you posted. I will throw this out for what it is worth. I have found it helpful to have everyone attending introduce themselves with screen name and hometown. I have been to numerous Meet & Greets/Mingles that I was hoping to put a face to a screen name and never know who all the attendees are. Depending on the size of the group sometimes it is hard to get to speak with everyone.
  13. Once again I have reached out to Princess and the instructions are still the same--send all M&G requests to grouponboardservices@princesscruises.com. That department now has 5 employees and most likely will be adding more. I know this is a change from the past but it is the preferred and best way to get your request handled promptly.
  14. I was instructed to publicize that all requests should be made to grouponboardservices@princesscruises.com which is monitored by employees in that department and any one of them can take a request and work it. It is possible to get the same person multiple times but it is not always certain. Rather than try to second guess that department I suggest you use their general e-mail address and work with the system. I am going to inquire if there any changes is the way they operate and will report back here.
  15. The thread has not veered off topic but has changed to reflect current conditions. Now instead of contacting a specific person you make your Meet & Greet request to grouponboardservices@princesscruises.com.
  16. This thread is for reviews only. So far there are no Enchanted Princess reviews.
  17. I have only seen private tours mentioned twice at M&Gs. Once the promoter was actively and openly connecting funds while the captain and staff were present and in the other instance it low key. If it is done discretely there should be no problem. I suggest that an organizer publish on the Cruise Critic roll call details of what is being proposed then have a meeting after the M&G to collect money and talk to anyone else that may be interested. It can even be at the same venue. This shouldn't be done while the Princess staff is talking and answering questions but as they are leaving or have left. If courtesy and common sense are used there should be no problem. I'm sure others have had or know of other experiences on this topic.
  18. rabin1 is right. RCCL does because they organize the whole event. On the Emerald Princess where the Loyalty Ambassador ("LA") provided refreshments it must have been something she did on her own. It turns our I knew her from a previous Princess Cruise when she was on the Cruise Director's staff and was very proactive. On another sailing the Group On Board Services Department did notify the LA who made arrangements. Heather is a new employee in that department, and perhaps even Princess, and doesn't know this can be done. At least you asked.
  19. I have only been on 1 Princess cruise that served cookies, etc. and that was on the Emerald Princess in March. I suggest you e-mail Heather and ask her to contact the Loyalty Ambassador ("LA") for that sailing. There seems to be a trend that the LAs are assisting with inviting the crew, providing refreshments, and acquiring any special equipment that might be needed like a microphone. I don't think this is fleetwide yet but worth an e-mail to Heather.
