  1. When we sailed on Seashore this year, four of the cabanas are reserved for Royal and Owners Suites. The others are first come, first served. We sailed in March, so access was fairly open. Honestly, though to assure we got the ones we wanted, a kind word and tip for the pool guards/attendants got our chosen cabana (we switched locations during the two weeks we were on, base on direction and expected winds).
  2. Meraviglia shows 55 Accessible cabins on their fact sheet, but only one in YC. So, of 2244 cabins, 2.5% are reserved as accessible cabins. So, one is a balcony in YC, and the other 54 are balcony and interior cabins with Bella, Aurea and Fantastica Experiences. So needs are accommodated, but not in YC.
  3. When we booked for our 23 October cruise, we were just given choice of the two dates we wanted, not the show times (6:15 or 10:00). We were told we could book our time when on board, so you should be able to do dinner and see your show. Bellisima is running different shows (same format), and reviews are positive about the experience. On seat availability, no one knows since it will be new when she comes to America in October.
  4. Unfortunately, MC Meraviglia has no Accessible Interior YC cabins. It's nice that the Seashore has five, but the Mera was not designed for physically challenged passengers. There is only one accessible balcony cabin (15039).
  5. Offers will vary, based on the ship. We did not get these offers on Seashore, but did get them for Meraviglia in October.
  6. You'll be fine, then. The room is large enough you won't feel pinned in, and you are so close to balcony style views from the front of the Top Sail Lounge or the One Deck, you won't miss not having a balcony.
  7. Sorry about your need for a handicapped room. From experience, it has ample room for movement and storage of a wheelchair. The only drawback is having only a very small closet and incidental storage. You should be fine as a single, as there are ample emergency notification pull cords around the room should you need assistance.
  8. I won't know again for sure until the end of October, but the Atmosphere Ice Cream Bar on deck 15 used to have free ice soft serve ice cream.
  9. Interesting that Virgin Cruises and Virgin Atlantic Airlines are not listed. Quite a number of UK MSC passengers book Virgin Atlantic Florida flights for their holiday cruise.
  10. We are the same (end of October), but we haven's got our final boarding paperwork yet. I'm assuming 3:00 was a working placeholder, so I'll wait until 20 days out to see what the official time is. Three months ago on Seashore it changed four times! At any rate, since they have never checked the time before, we will just go when we are ready.
  11. It won't be taken if it is a simple extension cord, or at least shouldn't be taken. Did you have one with a circuit breaker by any chance? I've always carried one for a CPap machine.
  12. As Georgia Peaches pointed out, you don't need to get or use the wristband. With MSC for Me app (on your phone if you download it, you can access things like the schedule of events, menus, etc), you have access to information. You need your card anytime you leave the ship anyway. The wristband can get you in your room, or be used when ordering drinks (paying or confirming you drink package), but the card works just as well.
  13. Drink package or no drink package you still get the free signature drink choice. You can book the night you want when you get on board. Shows are only once per night, I believe.

    Upgrades?

You must have gone all the way to page 20 or greater in this forum to find this thread! You are doing your research!
  15. Well, there are at least three that talk about how non-vaccinated can sail if tested, vaccinated can sail. It's all from the same statement from MSC. I see GonzoWCS posting "Yay, Cheers" on all three threads. I think we could combine into one.
  16. Pillow choices. It's now on the email, but we've had situations prior to the email where they had "run out" of pillow choices. I also now use the email to make sure I have distilled water in my cabin.
  17. Can I assume you are asking about this for a US cruise (when she comes to Port Canaveral in October)? If so, I would say that the MDR option would not be available on Embarkation day. I would say you only have the buffet, and possibly the bar food options (for a fee) in the Sports Bar. Lanyard question has already been answered.
  18. You forgot the tag line: Always use a TA!
  19. Mera will be back in the US in October. That's why I assumed it was a US-based cruise the OP was asking about.
  20. I assume you are talking about when she sails out of Port Canaveral. Even though that would be a stand-alone cruise, you are probably only going to have one special night, most likely a White Party night. For the shows, we prebooked the two shows for our seven-day on Meraviglia. It showed as an option when we went to check our booking and all the options.
  21. I don't think that is correct! His F/B posts show him on Bellissima. Tiny Armonia would be a waste of his talents!
