  1. As Rudi pointed out, with MSC all things are fluid. I remember having to run back to the YC to refill a drink if I wanted to walk around or spend some time in the rest of the ship. I don't know of any upcoming changes, but would not be surprised. Actually, to clarify Rudi's comment, a few years ago, even YC passengers had to pay a bit extra to get the super premium liquors (JW Blue, for example).
  2. They all do now, for the time being. The package is the top-end Premium Extra. all drinks up to $15 each.
  3. Just got a bottle of the Batch Proof 118.4!
  4. It is odd, since smoking areas are almost always on starboard on other MSC ships, same as most US cruise lines.
  5. On a seven-night cruise you should have at least until day three. We do it the second day usually, and have had no problems.
  6. Morgsmom and Nunagoras have given you the most accurate information. I have not been on Divina since eight years ago, but recently sailed on Seashore on a B2B. Seashore is newer and glitzier and would be my preference between your two choices.. I've added my thoughts on your questions where I think clarification is in order.
  7. You were missed! We had a very good B2B on her. Hope you are fully recovered.
  8. Careful! Note the poster's home city: Seattle. Same city as our young sailing 'friend!'
  9. It's a multi-phase building operation, and has only finished the first stage. It is reminiscent of Costa Maya, but this first phase is cleaner and spread out a bit more. There is a nice sandy area looking out at the ships and ocean like Costa Maya, and a scenic area to walk around in with each vendor having a large individual building/structure. It is a bit of a walk to leave the complex, and having a local walk you to town is recommended. People who have gone into the village haven't reported much excitement. Sales people in the complex were friendly and not really into hounding you to buy things.
  10. Champaign? They gave you a tour of a college town in Illinois, and a glass of water from the town well? Impressive? Lol
  11. Agreed! On this and some other recent issues.
  12. Same thing happened to my daughter. She got the pharmacy to do hers for her since they keep all the records.
  13. No staff member took action to have the child removed? That's a concern.
  14. Original is required, per MSC statements.
  15. I don't think Meraviglia had that feature. Seashore does not have it or use it. As you know it is using a program that matches floor selection for riders and assigns you one of the four cars to get on. No buttons for floor selection. It should have worked for you on Seaview, since it is the same as Seaside. On our times on Seaside when we used it, it worked well. When the door opens, if you put your card or wristband on the reader/scanner and select your floor, the elevator took you there, regardless of what other floors were selected.
  16. You actually have a few days to do it. I believe you have up to two days grace. I know it is at least one day.
  17. At a minimum, 15% additional service charge is made for all onboard purchases. You would be better off using the casino technique to "cash" OBC, if you have some left. Keep in mind your OBC can be used for the daily guest service charge.
  18. I was indeed. Just surprised there would bed jumping in 18026.
  19. Actually meant your Owner's Suite on 19. But i did rule out RS also, because you said you went up a floor to "the cabin above" yours to investigate the noise. Cabins above the Royals are Handicapped, so I assumed that they are limited to two people it is highly unlikely that they are "jumpers."
  20. It's on the MSC site under Voyager's Club. https://www.msccruisesusa.com/manage-booking/msc-voyagers-club
  21. What??? You were not in RS this last sailing? Oh, the humanity of your plight! 😉😢
  22. I'm going with Kokomo! 😄
  23. They have been standardizing the menu, at least on U.S. based cruises. It looks like a set of seven lunch and seven dinner menus (breakfast menu is set). We had the exact same series of menus each week of our B2B in March. I can't speak for overseas, but of the menus I've seen in posts, many of the items appear to be system wide. FYI, they do have a children's menu, although I have not seen it.
  24. And they keep well in your in-room fridge!
