  1. I want to go back to Labadee! I did the zip line and snorkeling. I loved the hammocks. The swings look fun.
  2. I was in Labadee in 2008 and they had some new things in process. The pier would be nice as we took tenders. I had a fantastic time. Maybe one day I'll return.
  3. It's definitely important. It's a shame that people put off doing it and potentially affecting set sail time. My daughter and I watched the video at lunch in the Windjammer. Then we went to our station.
  4. Everyone has to go their muster station before the ship can sail. There were a few announcements on board about that so I guess some people thought they could skip it.
  5. I have one in April. Planning on another in August and then hopefully can do two in 2024. I'm trying!
  6. Something I have read says March 2023. I guess it's a fluid situation.
  7. I haven't been, but I did research and chose a different excursion. It looked small and not worth it. If I were staying a few days in Curacao, I might go, but when I only have one day, I have to maximize so I decided on something else.
  8. Tentatively planning to go to Bermuda next August so it would be nice if it is all eliminated. If not, I'll still go.
  9. Just turn towards the city and they will be there. You don't have to walk far. I'm not sure where your ship will dock. For me, I just turned right and they were pretty much there.
  10. Stores at the Dockyard close at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. Since you'll be leaving at 6:00 p.m., it's not huge disadvantage.
  11. Did you get your Bermuda Travel Authorization? Have fun!!
  12. It's around until at least March 2023. I applied as soon as I could and it took a couple weeks before I got my authorization.
  13. I think I need about 4 more cruises to get to Diamond.
  14. I never got sick on a cruise. My daughter did get COVID on a cruise. Fortunately, she is vaccinated so it wasn't bad. And yes, we know it is a risk. I would just be curious if more or fewer people get COVID with relaxed requirements, but I don't think anyone is tracking.
  15. Even with the testing protocols, people still get COVID on cruises. I wonder how eliminating the testing requirements will affect cruise COVID numbers.
  16. A Sensational Sandwich: Royal Caribbean's Kummelweck Tantalizes Guests | Royal Caribbean Press Center
  17. I try not to pay extra for anything on board.
  18. You drop the kids off. I have not had kids in Adventure Ocean, but when I was walking laps, I saw the kids in the program (through the window) and they always looked like they were having a lot of fun. I was on a cruise over Halloween. A lot of people dressed up, not just kids. I don't know about Trick-or-Treating. I did not bring candy, but if everyone had, a cruise ship would be a sweet place to Trick-or-Treat. I'm sure Adventure Ocean plans activities for the kids. There was a Halloween party, but I don't recall kids there.
  19. I brought my cards, but no one asked to see them.
  20. I don't know if I could really enjoy myself knowing about the issues at home.
  21. I hope she's able to get her house situation resolved.
  22. Does she live in Florida? I guess she was going to fly to Boston. She needs to contact RCI, but I don't expect much recourse.
  23. Yes, Grandeur of the Seas. Staff put seasick bags on the stairwells. 100_5073.MOV
