  1. How dare you enjoy the food on the ship don’t you see how it goes in this forum you must despise it. Or someone from Alabama will get very upset.
  2. Nope. People have been complaining about the food on Royal Caribbean since the Internet first came around in the mid 90s so I find it pretty hysterical. Also there are tens of thousands I’m sorry actually millions of people who love their food because their surveys say so at the end of the cruise, and the amount of repeat customers also says a lot. You don’t like the MDR? That’s fine you have tons of other options to go eat at. I’ve never had a bad meal on the MDR. I will occasionally book a specialty restaurant. The amount of people who get triggered when somebody likes the food on Royal MDR is pretty hysterical again if it was such a problem and everything was going, so so so so so downhill then why are they getting more and more customers every year and more returns on those customers every year
  3. Why wouldnt it be? Its a Suite restaurant, customers pay thousands of dollars more for it.
  4. Been cruising since 91 and no, I've never had a bead meal in the MDR. You should try and then know for yourself if you like it or not.
  5. Try the food yourself and then if you dont like it go from there.
  6. The pools drain, they would drain it or not even fill it when encountering rough seas.
  7. Absolutely. I mean cruise ship pools are always so bigly and look like the great lakes with their size. They really should make them much smaller than your average hotel pool, I wonder if they do that at all? I get lost when i go swimming in those pools, so so so so big. I carry a megaphone so people can hear me on the recliners cuz i'm so far out in those olympic size pools. Definitely going to collapse like you said. ROFL
  8. I'll tell you when I get back from the February 10th Icon cruise. 😉
  9. Been on multiple New Year’s Eve cruises. This is standard practice. Those prices are insane though I believe I paid around 3 to 400 for a table. welcome to unfettered unregulated ultra capitalism. Where, without any exaggeration, the sole goal of our capitalist society is to get rich or die trying…. kinda sad.
  10. No ghost town Diamond Lounges on my four cruises since restart. I do agree they should enforce, we worked hard for that status.
  11. I don't think I've ever been more impressed with a post. You won the internet today in my book. I couldn't agree more.
  12. Havent been on in a few months, glad see the bickering is still going strong here at CC.
  13. I'll re-state: Europe is packed with tourists in the summer, I would never cruise an Oasis class in Europe unless I wasn't really interested in the ports just the Oasis class ship. Madhouse of a ship with a madhouse hotspot of tourists doesn't sound fun to me. Im not a fan of touring in groups of 100 people or more, etc, etc.....
  14. I would never cruise an Oasis in Europe unless you're going for the ship not the ports. Europe is packed in the summer already let alone going in on an Oasis class.
  15. If Labadee could clean up the water I would vote for it.
  16. I have no words. Deepest condolences......
  17. Almost every spot in the Caribbean is overused by tourism. If you ever snorkeled in the Hawaii or Philippines or anywhere over there you will see how boring the Caribbean snorkeling scene is.
  18. The biggest problem in my opinion with the oasis class is you barely see the ocean the only time you see it is when you’re on the edges of the pool deck… The icon class seems to have fixed that problem.
  19. Royal Promenade is where it's at. It feels like a mini version of Times Square. Love it. Going on my 4th New Year's Eve cruise this year.
  20. Booked yesterday morning, February 10, 2024. Took 13 years to try Oasis. Cruising Icon in it's 4th week 🙂 In my opinion just from what I've seen so far from RC blogs video, its Oasis class perfected. They nailed it. I think. We'll see!
