They've done most of this already and I must admit I am holding off from booking another NCL cruise (after the one I have in November) until I check out RCCL cost cutting measures in February. The value for money has reduced drastically since i started cruising 8 years ago and whilst I appreciate that the cruise lines have covid debt to pay off they still have to provide an attractive service to maintain high booking levels.

I booked my cruise in May through CAS and when the price dropped (after final payment) Irequested and was issued a 500$ future cruise credit which was valid from my disembarkation date for 12 months. I had to book and sail within that 12 month period. The credit was only applicable to the cruise fare, it could not be used for gratuities or taxes. If you purchase obc you can use that to pay the dsc but you can't use your shareholders obc for that. I don't know if you can use purchased obc in the casino I'm afraid.

Is this charge being applied to drinks bought in Spanish waters? If so it is already mentioned in the T&Cs plus it has been all over the cruise bloggers/vloggers pages recently.

I would (and do) choose Cagneys, La Cucina and Teppenyaki but sometimes I go to Le Bistro instead of La Cucina. You can check the sample menus on your cruise planner to see if any of the menu items take your fancy

What the World Needs Now on Star has been replaced with Deal or No Deal on our cruise planner. I hope that NCL don't just get rid of all the major production shows, that is one of my favourite things on a cruise. I don't drink a lot so sitting in a bar all night doesn't appeal and I don't like magicians or jugglers particularly (I don't think it works well in a large theatre)

I believe you can only order two drinks at a time per person I don't know how long you would need to wait to order another two maybe 10 minutes, maybe less, but the bar staff are required to ensure that nobody gets blind drunk so I expect it would depend on their assessment of your ability to continue drinking.

With your Premium Plus drinks package you can get drinks from the bar from the expensive bottles of spirits but no you don't get to take a whole bottle just two glasses at a time.

I have $500 FCC from a price drop which is due to expire on 12th June, I know the t&cs say that I have to book and sail before then but has anyone managed to get an extension on one for a month?

Has anyone been to Agadir port before? Since the Moroccan Dirham (MAD) is a closed currency we can't get any before we arrive there so does anyone know if there is a cash point or exchange desk at Agadir port? We have excursions booked but want a little cash for tips and I know local currency is best.

This is my second cruise as Platinum and last time I enjoyed both the ship tour and wines around the world. My husband is currently Gold and won't be Platinum until after our next cruise, is he allowed to accompany me on either of these perks?

I live in Europe and this weekend the RCCL cruises appeared, i was lucky enough to get a 12 day New Zealand cruise from Sydney. Some people are reporting a 16 day trans Pacific but that wasn't shown on my feed.

The club balcony shouldn't be called a suite, it is just a balcony cabin with a few extra amenities and a slightly bigger bathroom. It doesn't have access to The Haven, you don't get a butler and you don't have access to the concierge

Hi, I cancelled my cruise on 23rd July and received my deposit back but I am still waiting for the refund of my purchase of The Key, does anyone know how long it normally takes or if I should chase it up do you a telephone number for me to call? Many thanks

I was in a similar situation, they gave me FCC for 100% of the difference but they said they didn't do obc anymore. The FCC has to be used on a new sailing within 12 months of your return date and only applies to the cruise fare not the taxes, port fees, etc.

Sorry to hijack this post but do you actually have to be gambling to use the card or do you just go via the casino bar on the way to the theatre for example. Also, presumably since you are not paying for the drink do you tip a couple of bucks per drink?

I agree but I live in Spain so I can get to Barcelona in a few hours by train or car. A 7 day cruise is easy, you can get time off work without much problem and the kennel costs for 2 dogs is more affordable. Given that the itineraries that are really upsetting me are the ones that start and finish in different ports. Obviously a repositioning cruise is an exception but it looks like they are just doing one way cruises instead of round trip ones now out of preference.

We did a transatlantic on the Epic last April and at 1pm every day there was 3 or 4 activities scheduled, nothing the rest of the day just at 1pm when you were going for lunch. It was ridiculous!
