Today’s cruise compass We have docked in Key West. We have lots of children around us😆 Some has been very angry in the morning…… screaming and crying loudly. So hopefully they cheer up during the days🤩❤️

Dinner…. Well, guess who’s back…. Back again… We had not received a card in our room and no supervisor had told us what plans they made for our dinner for the second cruise. So we arrived at select dining on the same hostess as first night last cruise…… She looked at us a bit strange. She didn’t expect us….. We had an assignment downstairs on late dinner. So we received the table number and walked down to 3-level. We are seated on table 337. It’s on the edge by the window, we prefer to be seated on the edges, it’s more quiet compared to the open area in the middle. You can tell that the average age is lower. It’s lots of families and small children on our neighbour tables. This was a “ultimate” first night slow dinner, service and syncing of staff/guests not functioning. Lots of children dinners and special request. We were 45.mins later out from dinner then last cruise, no coffee or sambuca for Mr. I was dying tired 😴 (you see😆 why I prefer a cruise for a more “older” crowd) And last weeks service was not rushed at all. So things went very slow. I will not make any big decisions on crew service, I will let them have one more dinner. What I can say is that Lina, our head waiter seemed on the ⚽️ when she’s working. But last night is was just to much going on for everyone….. it was on the border of headless chicken run🐣🐣🐣 Our sommelier was topping up my glass of rosé and I always have the French dry rosé…. I hate sweet wines. First she couldn’t find a chilled bottle, so she gave me a glass of a dry Italian. She rushed by to top up and she filled up by the American sugar rose🙈 it’s dark red and taste 🥴nothing as a rose…. So hopefully it’s team playing for next evening. After dinner we went straight to bed😴😴😴 We had: Asparagus salad Wedge salad Shrimp cocktail Onion soup Lamb Seared brancino ice crem strawberry angel cake

We kicked off the evening in Sky lounge. (The stand-up show was not very tempting… it was a bit off last week and same person) Guess what???? Someone proposed next to us🤩💍🍾🥂❤️ She said YES❤️ Congratulations to the happy couple🥰 The Sil orchestra kicked off the party in Grand Foyer at 20.00 Love it when they do big band🎶🎶 The martini bar was packed🍸 Attached is the camp at sea for this sailing

I can already report, this cruise has lots of kids and younger guests🙃 Holy smoke…. Prince & the rest the crew of Sunset Bar really works for their salary today. It has been packed from 12.…. It’s been a lazy day by the pool and Sunset for us. Beautiful sail-away⚓️😎 We have just returned to our stateroom for a shower and downtime before we start the evening. We have not received dinner information. So it will be a surprise if we are still on select dining or if they have seated us at traditional dining 20.30…. Anyway, we will go back to the hostess that moved us…. It will be a pleasure to say: guess who’s back? Back again…. (Get the lyrics😂😂😂) Hopefully it will be a good location and service….. My favourite is lemon tart🍋🍋🍋🍋 it’s one of the cakes onboard I really enjoy. but I prefer the one that just lemon tart, not the style on our plate❤️

Turnaround day…. At 07.30 it was time for a coffee pick up in Al Bacio. They had started the process for walk-off. We had some coffee on the balcony and just relaxed before it was time to go downstairs for the b2b meeting 09.00. On arrival 09.00 they called tags up to 20. And it was still lots of people around the ship. 09.25 tags up to number 26 09.40 tags up to number 31 09.50 all tags called. Please leave the ship😝 WiFi was shut off at 09.40 for the first cruise. 10.04 can mr & Mrs xxx please come to guest relations…. 10.30 all cleared and new sea pass card 🥰 In our stateroom this was waiting❤️ I have just finished my walking tour. Great speed when deck is almost empty. Mr parked himself in a cabana box by the pool😎 And no it’s time for the first burger of the cruise😝 paperwork:

Tonight’s show is Euphoria, a production show. During the b2b meeting yesterday. Some cruisers asked for deals on beverage/dinner etc. Alex, the document officer said they were occupied. But you will get a notification tomorrow… aka today. We haven’t received any response. Not by phone or by letter. For us, this doesn’t matter. We have WiFi/call. And we don’t tend to do special dining. We have tried Murano twice on other S-ships and we had a 4-night dining package on Edge when she was new on our b2b. Tuscans dinner menu is not tempting for us. Sushi is nice, but it’s insanely expensive compared to home. (El cheapo me say No🙈) But for those who asked it might be a bit grumpy mode…..since they haven’t followed up this. Back to tonight’s show🤩 Wow, this is really a great show again. Euphoria is a good show and the acrobatic is really a high score. We seen it before, but it’s really a great show. It is live and things can happen…😱 an acrobat fell off the ❤️ heart. She smashed into the stage😰 They had a technical break, they said she’s okay. But it didn’t look good😰 Fingers crossed she’s doing fine. The show must go on is a saying… and it did. It’s really a great show❤️ At 20.00 it was time for CeCe Teneal in grand foyer. She’s a show🤩🤩🤩 They really saved the best to the last❤️ Tonight’s we had: Apple pear salad Boston lettuces Duck Rillettes Cajun drum fish ( the Cajun seasoning is very salty, it’s what we use on French fries as seasoning 🧂 only thing is that the box in the store is called pommfri krydder😝) Short rib Cherry jubilee Apple pie Giri, Kheshav and Vincent is excellent in service. They are a great time, nothing wrong in them. They can’t be blamed for the French neighbours🙃 On the good side, I had to brush up on my French and Mr had to try to understand. When is comes to our tv neighbours, this is another story… but again, X can’t tell in advance if it’s good or bad neighbours you will be seated at🙃 For the next cruise, we are still not informed if they keep us on select dining or if they have moved us to set time 20.30😝 Time will tell tomorrow night🙃 After the disaster in Vancouver on our b2b on Eclipse , Mr has decided that we will follow the group tomorrow at 09.00. We don’t want to stand in line for 2hours….. The entire process was awful on Eclipse as individuals. On Edge the individual transit worked painless. So fingers crossed it will be easy and painless 😇

Okey, this has been a day to relax. Norwaylady went for a good walk on deck. 2h power walk. (If you ask the crew, they can tell how many rounds😜) Mr attended Ocean’s ahead. Captain George is very welcome and a great speaker. So a happy camper arrived on deck to watch my last laps around the track😎 Lunch was a picnic from Aqua Spa Café. Mozzarella tomato salad and salmon mousse. It was delicious👏🏻 Dessert was melon from ocean view. Then it was time to walk down for a shower and a little downtime on the bed. Today’s canapés had arrived.

She deserves it❤️ She had a big birthday in September that year and my father just wants to stay home during holidays…. As a professor in the university, he’s always occupied on a science project, a new article to finish…. So he prefers to stay home in the home office😝 So he can work anytime🙈 He has turned into a an “grumpy old man” in some issues😅😜 So I decided it was time to take her on a cruise! She had a great time🤩 She was on Voyager in the Baltic last May by me. She had a great time again ❤️ I will bring my mother on Infinity soon⚓️🥂❤️ She knows she’s going on a cruise , but she doesn’t know I booked AQ…. And she loves saunas🙃 So she will be very pleased❤️

We have 15years wedding anniversary in 2025…. Our 10years celebration in 2020 was nothing as planned🙈 our 16n Asian cruise was down the drain and all restaurants etc closed🙈🙈🙈 So it was a good dinner at home alone celebration by our cats 🐈 🍾 So we have booked a Galapagos cruise for October 2025🥳🥳🥳

Rise & Shine😎 Sun is shining, I took it slowly in bed. Reading the newspaper and just waiting for Mr to wake up….. We had a great news waiting on our voice mail yesterday evening🙃 Our special request will happen🥳🤩🎁 So I’m very happy for it and our nephew will have a real treat on his gift table on his confirmation in May…..(it will be fun see how long it takes before our nephew understands the gift or rest of the family😅🤩⚓️) Mr knows that if you receive a gift from me, you need to check it or study it carefully….. The details will probably give you a hint or two….. When my mother was given a cruise from us. ( I took her on Jewel in Dubai) She had a water bottle for Christmas….. (it was a bottle mail) but she didn’t open the bottle or check it out further…. She just read the card on the gift saying she was occupied from then to then…. (We celebrated Christmas by Mr’s family) So she didn’t find the packing list… She called me a few days before departure and asked if smart casual was okay. (I didn’t think about it, to ask if she had opened the bottle) So we left for Dubai, she was super happy for warm weather and a fancy hotel on the palm pre cruise🥰 In the morning I told her, we need to pack up… we are leaving for next part of our adventure….. I gave her an envelope holding the luggage tags. (She’s seen them before when we cruise)…….. IMG_4041.MOV She was so happy🥹🥹🥹 My father is very homey… and when you mention cruises for him… he’s bringing out all prejudices he can find….. So then the girls can have fun together🥰🤩🥳😎 Back to our day😎 Breakfast in Tuscan. Mini bagels, fruit etc. Happy Mr😘 At 11.00 the captain will speak in the theatre. It’s the ocean ahead talk+ Q/A after. Mr always enjoy this. I’m preparing for a walk on deck💪🏻

Tonight’s show is CeCe Teneal. Portrait of Aretha. We kicked off the evening by a cocktail in Craft Social before the show. Tonight’s show was great. The orchestra was on fire and this lady is a very talented singer 🎶🎶🎶 So really my cup of tea🥰 Again, the officers and captain was in gran foyer. I have never seen them all so often. They are all out and about. The Martini Bar did a martini flight tonight before dinner. It’s the first we actually seen on this cruise. (Can’t say we have hang around here…) But it’s always fun🤩👏🏻 IMG_6085.MOV Mr had one of the glasses from the flight Tonight’s dinner is the famous lobster 🦞 day…. As everyone knows, you must pay for your 2. Lobster 🦞. But here’s where things get a bit weird or just idiotic for me… I’m really happy for lobster 🦞 but I prefer a Norwegian lobster 🦞 ( they are really good and size is much bigger) So we always order 2, one for mr and one for me. Then we order a 3 dinner. (Mine dinner, typically the duck) at the same time. Mr gets his lobster 🦞 and I get my dinner…… Great, everything is good and all are happy🥰 (we are 2 guests and we are eating 2 lobsters 🦞, so no bonanza for more than people in our booking) BUT Wait a second…… (I’m sorry to inform you that they can’t order 3 dinners from start…. They must order 2 AND then you need to ask/return plate for a new order) So that means, one can have dinner and one must wait for a new dish. This was not our dining staff, but supervisor decided…. And they were walking around like eagles 🦅overlooking this process….. Come on guys😳🙄🫤 So the rice pilaff is decent when it has some drops of soy sauce. (It’s almost a fried rice😋) Happy Cruising⚓️ Tonight’s menu: Kale salad Salmon tartare ( usually very good, but this was so salty🫥) Lobster (supervisors job tonight was to take them out and have full control of plates matching guests…) Cheese soufflé (don’t serve this to a French guest…..) Mr had a pice and said no🙈 Apple pie Baked Alaska After dinner…. Well you know. Good Night 😴

What a lovely meeting❤️ lovely couple from US is booked on Viking in July from Reykjavik to Bergen. It’s a really good itinerary that goes to Longyearbyen, Spitzbergen- Honningsvåg-Tromsø-Narvik-Leknes-Geiranger-Bergen. It’s a home run for Mr😂😍 So they will enjoy a lot of 🇳🇴. Very happy to answer their questions and packing tips. ( remember I/we go there often) So very happy for them🥰 I’m very happy to be asked🙃 Now it’s time to get dressed for evening chic. Tonight is lobster night.

I didn’t take a picture of it🙄 -but it was the usual OBC an reduced deposit. and side number 2 was for Galapagos. 11-days Quito or 16-days Peru. For us/can they offer 750$ for airfare voucher to use on flights by X(this is not available for Nordic guests) And they are offering a discount up to 1500$ and if you are elite or higher you get a loyalty discount. And they are all good together. I will see if I can get a new paperwork.

they gave me an almond croissant this morning☺️ I asked for a plain. it was good to be onboard. I’m a bit picky on the croissants… but this was very tasty and delicious🥰

Pedicure✔️ Melissa did a good job and my toenails are looking good again🤩 Breakfast together by Mr✔️ B2B meeting ✔️ Uneventful. Alex, document officer went thru the process step-by-step. And transit cards delivered out. No promotional offers as of now for dining/beverage. (They would notify later) After the must-do list it was time to walk outside. Pink lightning was walking for 1.5h It was chair hogs today…. So they left notifications and cleared out if nobody came😜🤣 Well done pool team👏🏻👏🏻 (Lots of grumpy faces, but they had been gone for over 2h on returning…) I picked up some pizza and melon for a quick lunch on the sun bed together by Mr. Mr do not walk as I do…. So a quick change and fresh up is needed now 😅 At 15.00 I have a meeting in Al Bacio. Someone on FB asked if we could meet for coffee and a talk about cruises in Norway 🇳🇴.

So today’s plan is: Sneak out of the room. Don’t wake up Mr sleepyhead…. (Told the spa NOT to call to remind me of my appointment at 08.00) Sneak out✔️ Coffee in Al Bacio✔️ Did they run out of plates😜 I’m not a 🦆… I prefer a plate under my croissant. (They drizzle) Manicure Breakfast by Mr B2B meeting at 11.00. The rest of the day is open🙃

Yes, they have a black belt in time travel😂😂 That’s why I wrote they have timed them self out🤣🤣🤣 (plus’s everything happens at the same time🫥) It was a new invitation on the bed last night, highlighting it is today 4.APRIL🙃

Tonight’s show is a production show, Life. We have seated us strategically, so we can sneak out quickly. To attend the senior officer party. Show was good, some elements are very good others could be better. Captain’s club party was as scheduled. Presentation of officers and drinks. Dinner tonight was: Asparagus salad Cobb salad Shrimp cocktail Lamb Tiramisu Ice cream Mr had a “small” glass of Sambuca for dessert😜 Then it was off to bed😴

We have stayed in concierge before covid and we have never ever had so many events going on when things were normal….. The concierge here is on the ball 24/7. So it depends on the ship and team.
