  1. We have cruised on Spring break with our teens. There were definitely more kids and teens during spring break than say during a November cruise. I can honestly say, I have never seen ppl throwing up or being too unruly on a princess ship. I've never cruised with Disney but would think that princess's kids programs don't compare.

Disney is my second home but it's time to try something new I do recommend doing it atleast once!!

What happened on my carnival cruise there was a girl unconscious in the bathroom laying in her own vomit, broken beer bottles in the kid pools people walking around in overly skimpy bathing suits

  2. What kind of things are there to do as a family so we can have quality time together. We all like alone time as well but I want to plan some things to do together.

  3. Miranda, I suggest you keep a list of the questions you want to ask and then post them all at once. Also, please use your spell checker as your posts can be difficult to understand, as the ages of your siblings - 16-18? Or 16-8? Which is it and what specifically do you want to know?

It also helps to be as specific as possible.

    Three kids ages 16 , 13 ,and 8.

I am trying to find out what kind of activities are offered and other things.

  4. I will always travel princess, I think they are fantastic for families it just so happened the age range on that particular trip was older.

I have travelled on other cruise lines and although I enjoyed them princess wins hands down for me. Your siblings will have a great time in the kids programmes.

  5. Our son was 13 when we cruised for the first time ever last November on the Magic. He loved the cruise! He did not, however, like the teen club what so ever. Although, I think that is because he is not one to make new friends easily. We made him go in there one time, and that was the last time. Our other son was 9, so they could not be in the same club. Had they been able to, I think it would have been much different. He mostly just hung out with us, or with our younger son swimming and playing basketball. We did see the clubs doing various activities around the ship, and they looked like they were having fun. I wish he would have gotten more into it. We had a verandah room, so he spent quite a bit of time there on the verandah. My husband was so not ok with that, but in the end, it was our sons vacation too. And, if that is what he wanted to do on his vacation, then so be it!

He will love it, not to worry!!

  6. We have stayed on plaza deck in an outside stateroom twice now and although I love the location we found it noisy when docking early in the mornings.

That might be bad although it might wake you up for early morning activities on ship :)

  7. The 8 year old should be happy with the children's program. Just make sure to take her the first time so she'll quickly meet friends and want to go back. :)

  8. We travelled during the US Spring break last year and I have to say I felt really young, I'm 32 with a four year daughter and we did stand out. The age group I would say was mainly 50s-60s, we had a great time and it didn't bother me in the slightest. We had great fun talking to people and just enjoying our holiday away from the cold weather.

I had many people ask if we found it hard being with older people which I found strange but mainly they were fascinated with my accent. We are from the UK and there were hardly any Brits on board.

We have been on many princess med cruises our next being on Regal and I have found the age range to be more young families, there are lots of children on board especially during the Easter and summer holidays.

You'll have a great time, we love Princess.

  9. The kids clubs are fantastic so much so I struggle to get my four year old out of them.

They will have a great time.

  10. I went on two princess cruises as a teenager. These were both about ten years ago, but I met and hung out with many of the other teens on the ship. There were about ten on both cruises that I was on. These were both Caribbean cruises in June. Were leaving on another one in a few weeks with three teenagers so i an always report back then.

Thanks that would be very helpful!! I just want everything to be great.

  11. Sorry, but not to be rude, but how many threads and questions to you need to have going?

You now seem to be asking very open ended questions.

If you really need help, then ask a specific question....not "help me".

It is possible to over plan too much.

You know following someone around and correcting them a lot is rude

  12. OK. Now we know what information you are seeking.

You are very unlikely to see that behavior on Princess.

Being new to princess I don't really know what to expect we have cruise disney cruiseline for many years scared to venture off to uncharted waters so to say.
