Is there a policy regarding parental guidance and presence for children 15 and above for the Water Park, or can you just purchase passes for themselves? Thanks

Thank you. Can you tell me where in town to go? An address or a location? I won't have any type of google map or phone GPS. Anything to give the Taxi driver would be beneficial. -

The sea calls my name replied to Host Bonjour's topic in Spain and Portugal Ports
Roger, Thank you for all your excellent tips and advise and the time you have given to all of us.. I have scanned through this entire thread and still have a couple of unanswered questions regarding Ho-Ho Bus. Since my last two stops on this beautiful island I have developed a significant pulmonary disorder that is being extremely limiting in my ability to walk any distance ( I am talking yards). Because of this we have decided to do the HO-HO Bus and not extensive tours as we did the past two years. My question is what mode of transportation will be the least amount walking to get from the ship ( Oasis of the Seas Oct 25, 2024) to the Number 1 start and then back to the ship with again the least number of steps. Also where is the Number 1 start and where is the final stop? Thank you in advance for your help. -

Presidents cruise update
The sea calls my name replied to Norwich Cruiser's topic in Royal Caribbean International
This is completely off the topic of the President's Cruise ( altho I did book next years today ). If possible, can you ask if Port Side BBQ is going to remain after they do the three week dry dock in October? We are on the October TA back to Ft Lauderdale and that is one of our favorite dining venues on Oasis. Thanks. -

We really enjoyed the Teppanyaki on Odyssey. The venue is so much more inviting. -

This restaurant has become our favorite specialty restaurant on RCCL. We have never had a bad experience or meal on any of the ships. -

We are going on her one more time before they "corrupt" her. I wish RCCL would listen to it loyal cruisers and leave 1 sister in her original beauty . -

Thank you for this information. If you are on the Eastern itinerary could you post the one sheet summary? -

Do you by any chance still have the one sheet show summary that list all the days, times venues and shows? If so could you post it? I am trying to see if 7:45 pm dining will work or if all the shows will have to be 10 pm shows which means I will turn into a pumpkin before they are over 🤣 -
But is Texans sure do.

m one of many who are "sailing virtually" with you. I do not remember the date or page number there the revised itinerary was posted. Can you of you wonderful cruisers please either repost it for me or guide me to what page of this thread it is on? Thanks and also a hug thank you to all who are taking precious time out of your amazing adventure to document it for us back at home. Continued prayers for safety as you continue on your journey.

Is it easy cruising out of Galveston?
The sea calls my name replied to 3red7s's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We did our first cruise out of Galveston in March and a young couple with a toddler were denied to get into the UBER they booked because ALL their bags would not fit into the trunk. The driver never got out and would not let them in holding a carryon. He drove off after telling them to call for a bigger car. I felt so sorry for that couple. So if you use Uber make sure you consider the size based on your luggage. -
Suger free coffee creamer
The sea calls my name replied to Krazcruiser's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I take up to two boxes every cruise. I put it in my checked luggage. Never had a problem. -
To avoid packing extra cups, we order room service the first night for breakfast the next morning. I keep the coffee cup, spoon and coffee carafe in the closet.. Each morning, my DH ( who usually wakes up before the sun( goes and drinks his coffee, then brings me back the full carafe right about the time I am ready for it. It has worked beautifully for us. .

Royal Transatlantic Questions
The sea calls my name replied to MtnSeaGirl's topic in Royal Caribbean International
On our TA on Odyssey last April there were 8 different menus. We did a 50/50. Half in the dining room and 1/2 in specialty restaurants. That way we did not repeat any menu. We have done a TA the last two years and have one this fall and also Fall of 2025. On was only Spain ports and the one last April was Spain , France and Italy with a 3 day post-cruise stay in Rome. We have loved every port of call and Transatlantic cruises have become my favorite type of cruise. Both have been on larger ships which gives more options to help keep you busy if you want to be or chill if you don't. -
Looking for tips for Oddysey of the Seas
The sea calls my name replied to cpl100's topic in Royal Caribbean International
The Show "The Book" in Two70 is amazing. Two tips, the venue is small and IMHO the seats are uncomfortable so we got there about 45 minutes before the show. to get a good seat Second, my advise is don't try to understand the plot. The first time we saw it I got very frustrated trying to understand it and missed the magic of it, our next cruise on her I just enjoyed the show. I concur that Giovanni's wine bar is a wonderful venue and we also enjoyed eating at Giovanni's kitchen a couple of times.. The Teppanyaki restaurant is not only delicious but is in a great location with beautiful views of the ocean. The Solarium is awesome. It is climate controlled and a great place to hang out. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. .
