  1. Was it on the weekly sales flyer? I "think" I may have seen them on one of the OA class ships a couple of weeks ago at $1899 pp. I don't believe there are any CC rules against mentioning prices

Actually just saw it online a few days back as a CL Gty, so called RCCL

It was around $4k. Then had extra discounts, (D+ etc) tho would have been even more discount if not for single occupancy. But very happy with it, as have paid more for a GS /OS in the past..

Saw other CL on OA class for Sept, @ $7 - 8,400 ! So even more happy! Haha!

  2. I get it.

My hubby and I are going on our 4th RCI cruise in February next year. It's an Asian cruise on Mariner, and our first cruise where we're not leaving from Sydney.

But even now, I'm having so much fun just reading, researching and learning all about the ship, our destinations, etc, etc, even things I already know.

Keep looking forward to your holiday, and have fun!👍👍

Thank you! 😘😜 haha... so happy to hear that! I would think there are zillions of cruise lovers doing the exact same thing as us....Oh my...

It is so much fun isn't.. I've been checking out YouTube vids too, some are just brilliant!

  3. Depending on what kind of device you are reading this on, there is a list of RC ships either to the right of these threads or below the thread list. Click on Harmony of the Seas.

Thanks M, yes, spent most of last night on there.....Some great reviews from some great cruisers.. loved it!

I guess you just never know, something unique/unusual "may" have occurred or was discovered on HOS the past week! Haha.

  4. I was not on it this week.

But I will take an educated guess and say besides the passengers & weather.

It was probably the exact same as every past sailing....

 Well thank you...reviews differ, as does perception of course, imho I enjoy reading others experiences when I am close to cruising. Good, bad and ugly if any, it all makes for a good read and can add to to the

    pre- vacation excitement. 😎😜

  5. Hey gang, We are Sailing on the Allure next week in a Crown Loft Suite. Can't Wait! If anyone has been in one of these beautiful rooms before, can you tell me your experience with the mattress? Soft, Hard, Lumpy, best night's sleep ever? Thanks in advance!

I will be experiencing this next weekend, but, you know, worse case scenario if the beautiful bed proves to be uncomfortable you can always ask your suite attendant to get you an extra duvet/quilt to put on top of the mattress. I always ask for that when in other suites as prefer soft bed, just not tried a CL yet.

Am sure it will be lush!

  6. Lucky!!! I'm tracking an L2 on Symphony for next September and they currently want $9,600 for 2 of us for 7 nights!!! I'll pass!

Oh my gosh! Crazy huh, yes, I've seen close to that on other ships too. You may get lucky like me and wait until 7-10 days out if not completely sold. Got a CL Gty, as nothing else available, so you know it's deffo a CL, but poss upgrade too, tho said I didn't want one, wanted to have a CL. 😜

  7. Love Labadee! If you get off the ship as soon as it is cleared, my suggestion is to go directly to Nellies beach......

I've been there many times, grab a chair down by the waters edge and usually have approx 2-3 hours with the beach all to myself before the masses arrive! Lol

Best time of the day and absolutely beautiful!

  8. Am so excited! I just confirmed a Crown Loft Suite for the Sept 2 cruise on Harmony! A great rate and traveling solo too, was equally surprised that I even qualified for this beautiful suite! How lucky am I! Whoop!!!

Will try to post during cruise, (only if the sun is not shining!! ) otherwise will write a review later....Lol

   🌞🍹🙋

  9. Hi all. Am considering booking a CL but preference is also a larger and open balcony that gets the most sun (minimal overhang)

I see some are overlooking aqua theater area etc and others on side have ocean. Checked YouTube...balconies I saw looked the same, big overhangs, so all in the shade.......any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much

  10. We are about to book our first Celebrity cruise after eleven years and 17 cruises with Royal Caribbean. We love Royal, but have found that cutbacks and downgrades in recent years leave us feeling a little less pampered and special. We are looking for just a little more of that "they treated us like kings and queens" feeling. We are looking at Equinox out of Miami this summer. Do you have any thoughts or advice?

Just my humble opinion, but having been in different suites up to RS level, and diamond plus on RCCL, I jumped back to Celebrity.

A decline in service, friendliness of staff, attitude and overall deterioration in food, entertainment etc on RCCL prompted me to do so, and if you start off on one of the Solstice ships, you will never go back!!

YES you are definately made to feel special on X, of course if you are fortunate to have a suite with Butler, even more so... staff seem to want to go above and beyond to enhance your experience, food, entertainment, even passenger ""quality" far superior... (dont flame me, just my own opinion as stated)

You will not be disappointed... if you can start in a Sky Suite even better, but overall a way more positive and better quality experience.

  11. We were in a S1 Sky Suite on Dec. 9. We also had Dragos as our butler. He was terrific. Ate every night in Luminae...best service ever. Food was good enough that we didn't use our 2 free nights in the specialty restaurant. Our server every night was Rosebud. He also was terrific. This was our 11th cruise on Celebrity and definitely not our last.

Great to hear! Yes Dragos was superb wasn't he. Aha Rosebud! forgot his name. he was run off his feet, so busy poor guy.... but still had great attitude. Can't go wrong with the servers, and maybe it was the time I dined that I noticed a Reduction in force...... food is subjective I know, but I did enjoy many meals, maybe because I was dining alone I just wanted to eat and get out of there as felt a little awkward... lol still no complaints really.... love cruising, love the Solstice line ships and looking forward to my next trip in March. Lucky me.

  12. Was Luminae crowded? Not very crowded at all on our last cruise and there was sufficient staff. Also, was there one waitperson you would say who was stellar? I would ask for them. Thanks for the feedback.

It really wasn't overly busy at all most nights but sometimes only saw the one server, poor guy... sorry can't remember his name. Whoever you get am sure they will be very good, they really want to please you.....
