Oh, that is also site I saw this on. i did a mock booking as D0- aft was sold out, so chose a guarantee D0-aft and that includes the description as well, saying signature benefits. This was not the pop up. It was on my laptop. SUN was in Naples today so I expect less posts. Appreciate all who are sharing.

Wondering if anyone on-board the Sun can give some information on this category? Benefits, upgrades, restaurant, sun deck use? Are you getting Signature benefits in a D0- aft?

Usually you have 24-48 hours to decline upgrade IF you receive notification. But my post stated my fb friend did not get notified and found out upon embarkation today.

When the 2 options are given: you choose or Princess chooses, wouldn’t you think they would stop giving upgrades without our approval? Sometimes the you choose costs more!

I like the cabin too! My first impression of the balcony was “ we are going to be peeping Tom’s!” I really do not like looking at other’s balconies. But those lounge chairs will do just fine.

Would like to hear from those on board where/ what dining is like.

Thing is, she will give it a try. i would not like that location with shared deck in front of my cabana.

I always choose my cabin, refundable deposit option when booking online. I just saw a post by Gerrilyn who boarded the Sun and was surprised to find she was upgraded to a cabana mini suite reserve collection set back from sea. I would not want this. in the past I have had my TA mark no upgrade, but got one anyway. Anyway to avoid an unwanted upgrade?

Just checked my SUN bookings- fare is up over $700 pp more then I am paying. Benefits or no benefits I am going to try this D0- aft cabin.

It went off without a hitch. IAH Marriott Club, as well!

Excellent idea! Just got home from cruise. Checked my future bookings on SUN & STAR. My one and only D0- aft cabin has gone up in price more then $700 pp since I booked. Suites remain the same.

I disembarked yesterday. I did speak to Future cruise staff last week. He sells cruises on board and should have some knowledge of what he is selling, right? Wait and see- I am not locked into this D0- aft cabin, so I can easily rebook that cruise in a suite. I certainly won’t be waiting until I board to see what benefits I get. i posted on this thread in response to Leo’s question and leaving this old thread as I am about to board my flight!

Definitely not settled yet. Soon I hope. So my cruises in Suites & this mystery D0- aft benefits are all in October 24 and in winter 2025. Please report back. I also anticipate changes well before I sail.
