I like the Dawn better than it's sister ship, Star. They added Los lobos to Dawn pre-covid. No idea why they didn't do that to Star? Dawn's production show is called Elements. It is my fav in house ncl show. Female Show dancers do acrobatic stuff above the audience heads on a swing. Joy has the same show but it's done on stage :(

Ship to Bermuda was redirected to Miami because storms. We stayed till 10pm. There was tax on drinks even if you had the beverage package. But as the pic shows, my specialty meal had no tax. So what's the reason behind the different taxing?

Ncl joy 10 day cruise. Activated the 150min internet on day 3. No 'upsell to unlimited' popup. It activated like normal. Will try activating 2 days after embarkation on next 10day cruise

Summit 8/2023 transatlantic to Iceland. This was lunch. Same day as lobster night for dinner. Prime rib made to order instead of a mass of beef in a pan like a few pics up. Very tender. And ribeye was on mdr dinner on 2 previous nights.

I'm currently on the Summit. It's back to plastic water bottles fleetwide but the bartender couldnt tell me why. This started a couple of week ago. Anyone know why Celebrity switched back to plastic?

yeah i saw that but it's off to the side. no blockage of viewing straight forward. So there's still a bump out for my bed: But there shouldnt be a 'bump in' from the adjoining cabin's bed because there isn't an adjoining cabin. so i should have a couple of feet more space there? (not that a couple of feet of space makes that much of a difference)

thx. i changed my room to 7320 (aft) from my current fwd room. Hopefully i'll remember this thread next year and post pics. Oh.. upgrade to regular veranda is $88. nah, i'll keep the real balcony. Also, i've never been in a porthole verandah.

This pic makes it seem like there's no upper window? port hole verandas are true balconies, and not infinite balconies?

Is it me or does 7320 look slightly bigger than it's surrounding p1 verandas? Downside: noise from Eden?

oh.. so p1/p2 the window opens? just like a vernada? its just smaller than a veranda window? ie: p1/p2 = bulkhead window do you know whats the difference between p1 and p2?

I got a free cruise on Ascent next year in a P0 ov but it was sold out. i upgraded to a p2 (port hole) for $200. But the p2's on 6th floor were obstructed. So i got a p1 on the 7th floor. looking at the pics, the p0 panorama window seems bigger than a port hole? and better location (midship next to elevator) than a p1/p2 (front or aft of ship). Did i just pay for a downgrade?? ie: p0 > p1 > p2???
