  1. Thank you! I am glad I checked. We are used to having that on HAL and our last Princess Cruise was 10 years ago.
  2. Wow! I am shocked that Princess does not have an unlimited service! Am I understanding correctly that they do have a service on a per bag basis? How much is it?
  3. We haven't prepaid our gratuities so will definitely let you know. They did mention that it couldn't be used in the casino either.
  4. Our HIA package was very substantial compared to what I have seen being offered since we booked. We were told we could use it for everything else except gratuities.
  5. We were advised by guest services that we could not use the OBC we received in our specific HIA package for gratuities. I would call them and confirm your options.
  6. There is only one direct route to the bases. We rented a car when we were in Fairbanks. We were at a loss as to what we were gong to do with our time after we went to North Pole, toured the U of A Fairbanks Museum (highly recommend) and drove around Fairbanks. Based on what you already have planned, there is honestly not a whole lot to do. The tour bus will likely drop you off in downtown Anchorage by the mall. You will literally walk around town during that time. I suggest if you have time to go the "Humpy's" or if you can get over to it "Moose's Tooth" Other than that you will be strolling through souvenir shops.
  7. We were both eligible; however, we were told that only one would be applied to our cruise.
  8. I just figured this out this morning. Click on "Arrange Flights & Transportation". Then select "Flights". Finally, select "Book & Manage Flights". Flight information should be there.
  9. I actually do not know where to find it. We signed up for the Teachers appreciation today. So 48 hours won't be until Thursday.
  10. We completed the Teacher Appreciation forms and were approved (we are both teachers). My husband called Holland America and was advised that the credits would be applied automatically within the next 48 hours to our currently booked cruise.
  11. I want to say it was Alamo, but it hasn't been since 2016. The rental place is within walking distance of the ship dock. I would make reservations sooner than later though.
  12. One of the things that you must consider when scheduling anything on debarkation day is that there is only one road from Seward to Anchorage. If there is a wreck on the Seward Highway, it can potentially shut the road down for hours. If you want to do tours or anything, schedule an extra day or two. Red-eye flights are a norm out of Anchorage. Additionally, you need to be prepared for long lines at the airport during fishing season when tourists are taking back their haul. On a lighter note, the Sealife Center in Seward is great. As is the Alaska Wildlife Center in Portage on your way from Seward to Anchorage.
  13. We rented a car in Juneau. You can easily drive the whole length of the road north and south of Juneau. If you drive all the way north there is a good chance that you will see whales from the road.
  14. Mendenhall does have ADA accessibility. You can get more information here: https://www.fs.usda.gov/detail/tongass/about-forest/offices/?cid=stelprdb5401451
