On the Emerald in January, they had a QR code at the karaoke session to view their song list. I have attached the PDF here. Not sure if this is the same for all ships or if it changes very often. But it's probably good enough for you to preview

Thank you for posting. This is the same song list I saw on Majestic last year. This year though, Majestic no longer posted a QR code at the door and you had to ask the DJ to find the song you wanted to sing.

  2. MSC was openly talking about going to Alaska for a number of years but it never materialized. My guess is some of the more popular destinations outside Caribbean are already saturated with cruise ships or that the barrier to entry may be uneconomical for MSC to overcome.

Also gone are the private Karaoke rooms. Some things just didn't catcht on in the west. Too bad.

Majestic has karaoke every night in either Vista Lounge or Princess Live.  It was well attended. On my recent cruise, there were some really good karaoke singers including a former winner of The Voice of The Ocean. No song book. You tell the DJ what song you want to sing and he would search his computer to see if it is available.

But Ketchikan though...  Way too cold to enjoy breakfast sitting outside (48°F), right?

There is a little section with tables right outside the buffet entrance/exit door midship that is sheltered and quite warm. It's at the opposite end of the burger/hotdog stand.

I disagree.  Those terms were not given to me by my TA during booking.  I’m no attorney but have studied contract law and think this has merit.

Do you know how much it would cost to sue X? Way more than the cruise price.

This is getting from bad to ridicules. In the letter from X yesterday, my booking was cancelled and I was offered the option to Lift & Shift to one of the three Japan sailings in 2024. When I called this AM (less than 24 hours), X now said 2024 Japan sailings are no longer available to L&S and only offered to put me on waitlist for 2025 Japan cruise with no guarantee I can get on. A quick check of an online big box TA shows there are a lot of empty cabins listed for sale on these Japan cruises at a much higher price. This leads me to believe that X has no interest to honor the lower price + perks I paid and prefers to get rid of my booking. Unbelievable.

X relented and I am L&S to Mar 27, 2025 Japan cruise at the old price with perks. Happy this got resolved. Now waiting for my TA to send revised booking confirmation.

    GREAT NEWS!!

I will be boarding the Volendam on May 2d and am so happy that the Taco Bar is open.  Last I heard on the HAL form was that it was removed from HAL ships.

I was on Westerdam in Feb. It had alternate taco and ramen bar next to the pool on different days of the cruise. Both were delicious and complimentary.
