Question not cruise related. We have an 8 hour layover at JFK on our next trip. Traveling with friends from TX who haven't been to ground zero. Is it possible from JFK. Is there a train to take directly or what are chances of doing something during that time. Thanks in advance

I had the same question and just searched back through this thread to see who Radio chose. He went with Budget in St. Thomas. You can see what he said on page 17, post #325
Thanks

Just get off ship grab a cab and choose your beach. We like shipwreck or monkey beach. Nothing over the top cheap beer food and chairs. Both places $30 massages

Thanks have always enjoyed you reviews!

My comment, why are critics saying swallow pool. When I have been in I couldn't touch?
-
Yup that's how it works plus the $125 pp for 5 years. We travel to Haiti a couple of times a year and worth I going thru customs in Miami! We made it thru TSA in about 2 mins and the rest of our group were about 15 mins behind us!

Great report! I also was very careful to constantly wash my hands and I thought I had escaped the noro, but......I didn't feel so well on disembarkation day and by time I reached my hotel in London, I was sure I had it. Fortunately, it lasted only 24 hours and I was holed up in a hotel room with 20+ channels of English TV and free wifi instead of confined to my inside cabin on the ship watching the Mentalist in Spanish (or Portuguese or Italian). My London plans came to naught, but I was fine to fly home two days later. I never ate lunch in the WJ - MDR or Park Cafe instead. Breakfast was from the CL where they were constantly cleaning and even served you from the buffet.
Hi, Carol how are you? Kids are all well!
