On the opposite end of the beach from Sunset is a few trucks with food. We had the best BBQ chicken and it was cheap, cheap! I think they did have beer too!

Kelly, not sure but would pack one as with cameras, iPod and not mention hair stuff you will need it. I forgot to add computers if you take one. I do to download pics.

Let us know how long ots takes for the shuttle sand if it was a hassle to get the pick up. Always looking for ways to save money but love the ease of parking at the port.

Radio, do you planned to get a cabana on the explorer? We want to but are only diamond so could you stop talking about how great they are??? :D

Dawn, would their coffee be similar to Dominican coffee? I found that really strong too..........I bought a bunch to take home because I liked it so much. I'm a big coffee drinker and it's strange because I like the smoothness of the Blue Mountain from Jamaica and yet I love the strong Dominican coffee too. Just don't ever give me flavored coffees.........can't drink them!! LOL

Mike said he hasnt had much Dominican coffee but he would say the Haitian coffee is bold. And he agrees yuck to flavored coffee!

Radio, Haitian coffee really good esp if you like it strong! Rebo was Mikes fav when we lived there.

2 yo twin granddaughter just before bed in pjs walking around in the stores on board. Woman in her 20s and slightly drunk, says to DD dont do that to a drunk lady. DD says what? Drunk says I thought I was seeing double when one twin ran thru then another! We still laugh over that one.

Second was overweight woman in bikini with flames tatooed around her middle. Known to us the rest of the cruise as fire crotch!!

I also checked this out cuz I wondered what the reaction was! But do wonder if it was a JOKE, check the name never would anyone use that first time here and it was the first post. I think I smell a joker!

Jim, so sorry to hear about Carol. We so enjoyed cruising with you and then coming home and reading about it. Carol was special and you were the best husband for her. So glad that RCCL was helpful with sending Carol off. She will be missed. Glad you are still cruising and letting us come along with you. Carol would want you to carry on and enjoy your days!

I dont know if you also know that you can subscribe to threads on that quick link too! Its great way to keep track of the threads you posted on and not have to look them up. Hope this helps. Patty, we used the ginger before our 12 but we had such a nice smooth cruise.I bought it at GNC just make sure that it has real ginger in it. But then Suzanne and Christy werent on!!

I think Suzanne was on the cruise that came back late with the storm Noel? Am I right? You, Suzanne and Christie need to tell everyone when your cruise meet!!!

Oh Radio, I think you are cursed with the explorer! I had to laugh when I saw that you were on "another late cruise"! Not sure if it is you or Christy!!!! I am very sorry though for the reason they are late this time. I also enjoy following your cruise as we wont get one this year as we used 2 weeks of our vacation time to go to Haiti after the earthquake. We are looking at our next explorer cruise in 2011.

I found a suction cup toothbrush holder at the dollar store that I keep for cruising. It takes care of where to put your toothbrush each day.
