  1. Hey friends! Any caves in your future? LOL. Lindy and her DH, Jack and his DW plus Mike and I and another couple with be on the silhouette in Nov so loved your review! Doing the TA from Rome. Funny story when we were in costa rica our guide kept calling the slouth sluts. It was so funny each time he said it. Finally the guys got funny and were saying things like I think I saw fish nets on that one. Glad to see you both are doing well

  2. I agree with the bar staff on the summit. We would rank it the lowest of over 16 cruises. It was hard to get a drink and sometimes we left and went somewhere else. We were with good friends so we made the cruise great. I think in the theater there was only one or two waiters . It was our normal waitress from Michaels for the elite so she did ask us but we saw her all over the theater.

  3. I was going to say the same thing! We got quite a group over there! All your questions will be answered.

Weather in 2012 was light jacket most days even when crossing but closer to fl got warmer but we were at the pool only one day.

Trip from Rome to port about hour and half. Come to the roll call some are getting a group together to save money

  4. Are you sure about that? If that is so then why do they have a Classic & Premium Non Alcoholic package?

I'm pretty sure it(The Classic Alcohol) covers the ones in the Classic Non Alcoholic package.

All I know is we had Classic got water, soda and coffee at coffee shop. I know we couldn't get the big bottles or sparkling water but Mike got whatever he wanted at coffe shop. Do a search I am sure there is a list out there on cc

  5. I agree with sagrada familia. It was amazing. I would recommend buying tickets ahead of time. We passed no lie at least 1000 people and went right in. Our friends waited almost two hours to get in. We prepaid for the Gaul houses too. We walked all over and took metro. It was very easy.

  6. In our experience no. Last cruise even when we got on they said no discounts. Later was checking out Normandy and they said are you booking I said no as we were looking for discount. He said what about 50% so we agreed and six of us went so all that to say keep trying as you never know lol

  7. There is malaria in Haiti just like most Caribbean countries. Labadee has taken care of most threats plus malaria Mosquitos are out at Dawn and dusk when everyone is still on the ship. We lived in Haiti for 8 years didn't take any meds bit had screens on our house. Though when we take groups to Haiti we have everyone speak with their mds which is what I would suggest to op. Haiti isn't the only Caribbean country you can't give blood. It's most countries. DH has a Rae type of blood and would donate all the time but can't in last 10 years as we cruise every year

  8. We have on just about all cruises got obc out of casino. I would rather have the money in my pocket than wait on refund on cc. A thought though if you got the drink package you can use for all the non-alcohol beverages you want. We got the alcohol package under 123 and I am not a big drinker but all my diet cokes, waters and fruit drinks made it very nice. Just because you have the full package doesn't mean you have to get alcohol. DH also loved the specialty coffees

  9. Funny how people see things different. We were on the summit about a month ago and thought the food was not nearly as good as RCCL. I also thought the service was off too. We went with 2 other couples who all agreed. It was our first on celebrity and was disappointed. But with the savings and the drink package I would probably do the summit. I love the Jewel and her staff and love the aft balconies as they look right over the water. Either way should have a good time. Things were pretty dead after 11 on celebrity

  10. We did Godfrey tours first time was good. Next three times have done sonny. His tours much more fun and he interacts a lot more. Each time we had different people with us and it's a good way to see the island. So I would say if you want shapphire go with sonny. This time we are renting a car.

  11. DH is taking BA from LHR to JFK and I can't find any way to reserve a seat. I called BA and they said there is a charge for everyone to choose a seat. How did you manage to do it?

The agent said 24 hrs in advance they open up the bookings and you can secure a seat at that time.

We were told the same thing. We decided to go ahead and pay, I tried to do on website and couldn't so called them was told that choice air needed to release my resy. I called them and they didn't something( I have no idea what they did) went back to the BA site picked our seats and then it said comfirmed! Never asked for any money. I was very happy to say the least. I wasn't looking forward to not sitting by my husband for 8 hours.

  12. We used Choice air last year. We had one free bag each with British Airways. There are no transfer included. Went to the BA site and got our seats right away where others we know paid for choosing seats but we didn't have to and BA website said it was $40pp to choose seats but we didn't pay anything and got good seats. Price was quite a bit cheaper than airline website. We are going to use them again this year.
