  1. I'm too busy making reasonable guesses at which ports we'll get to, and what restaurants will be open.
  2. They're not on ours, just things like arrive early morning, depart early evening.
  3. If you don't want to have anymore boosters, can we have them please?
  4. Sorry to hear this Megabear. You seem to be moving from one crisis to another right now. Surely things will improve soon. Good luck and keep your chin up.
  5. You would think that with so many people on here using Staysure, that they would read these forums, and respond. Very poor.
  6. I am certainly not attacking you Megabear, but your point is surely open to debate. I answered your quote "Staysure have a new third party emergency team recently appointed. Recent reviews of Davies & Co (the new third party) are pretty dire on Trustpilot." Had you ended your quote at the end of the first sentence, then I would agree that you were merely pointing out they now use a third party to handle claims. However you then go on to quote how dire the reviews of Davies and Co are on trustpilot. I am merely pointing out that there are over 200,000 reviews regarding Staysure (little or no mention of Davies and Co) , and unless you have read them all to see how many are happy with how claims are handled, then I think your pointing to one star reviews is misleading. Very few people will leave reviews after a claim has been settle satisfactorily, but folk are very quick to reach for the keyboard when things go wrong. Personally I don't like looking at reviews on major websites. I don't trust them. Finally Megabear I do value your contribution to this site and do not intend to offend you in anyway. Don't let me or anyone else's opinions put you off posting.
  7. 2% OF 200,000+ is hardly representative. Could you point us to an insurer on Trustpilot with lots of 5 stars for claims?
  8. Didn't you tell the your DH's replacement knees are under warranty for 5 years?
  9. Me and the other 2500+ cruisers on the 2nd October sailing of Britannia are all definately going to do the test. So there you are Mr P and Ms O, you don't need to worry about our cruise. As for Jeanlyons next trip, maybe you need to look closer. 😉
  10. That's bad. Should be like cafe nero , buy 9 coffees get the 10th free. Then again, you're still two cruises short. Better book another couple whilst their cheap, just in case.
  11. Well like I said it includes all cruises, not just those up to end of September.
  12. Now on P&O website.. Testing requirements For holidays from 24 July 2022 Unless otherwise communicated, all guests aged five years and over must take a lateral flow/antigen test within two days prior to embarkation of the ship. This can be at any time in the two days before or on the day of embarkation. Guests will be asked to confirm the test has been taken, with a negative result, as part of the pre-boarding health declaration at the cruise terminal/airport. Guests under five years of age are exempt from pre-travel testing. Accepted pre-cruise lateral flow/antigen tests Our vaccination and testing policy is reviewed on a regular basis and may be changed or enhanced at any time. In this instance, impacted guests will be contacted directly. At the time of travel, some ports may stipulate specific vaccine or testing policies for guests going ashore that differ from this policy. We’re unable to accept guests who, within 10 days prior to the cruise, have been unwell with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 or have been in close contact with someone with confirmed or suspected COVID-19. If you’re impacted by this, you would need to call our Customer Contact Centre on 0344 338 8003 (local call charges apply) and not travel to the terminal/airport. You’ll receive a non-refundable Future Cruise Credit (FCC) to the value of the cruise and we’ll automatically refund any pre-cruise purchases made through My P&O Cruises. Please note your FCC is not ABTA or ATOL protected until a new booking is made. If you booked your cruise as part of a wider holiday package, please contact your travel provider for information relating to their policies.
  13. Exactly. So if those of us who reported it to a doctor have to declare it, then surely that is discriminatory, as thousands will have had it without even knowing in some cases.
  14. Does pre-existing not mean you HAVE a health condition before taking at the policy, rather than HAD. I had measles and chicken pox as a kid, but I haven't declared it.
  15. Don't worry about not being computer literate, neither are P&O.
  16. If they do stop offering fcc in these circumstances, it should be with a notice period, and only include those who have not made final payment. I have paid in full on the understanding that a ffc will be given if I need to cancel due to covid.
  17. That may be your experience, but obviously some people have been very poorly with covid, indeed many have died.
  18. Yes, as you say, uneducated. Unbeliea...... what?
  19. We're on the same cruise as you. Travelling down on the Saturday, overnight stay. We will do the tests early on Saturday morning before we set off. Probably use Randox, but haven't ordered yet. Like you I hope they scrap testing. Not that we disagree with testing, it's just the added stress.
  20. Just wait until you get on board. You'll find you've been allocated 4 suites each to look after. No way will their system not think you are actual Butlers.
  21. I hope so too. Enjoy your cruise. I'm sure your little one will.
  22. There is a night nursery on board, but I think this is closed at the present time, either for staffing issues, covid, or more likely operational reasons, but I may be corrected by someone with greater knowledge than I.
  23. This should help. https://www.cruisemummy.co.uk/tips-for-cruising-with-a-baby-or-toddler-on-po-cruises/
