  1. It appears to have replaced the Free Drinks while playing with a 'water package', whatever that might mean for the various tiers. We enjoyed getting cans of Diet soda to take back to our room.
  2. It does say 'Water package' for Pearl class & higher. However, that would not cover the land based comp cabins unless the cruiser had qualified with 4000 or more points in the prior April 1st to March 31st earning period. Doesn't seem like a nice 'welcome' to new NCL cruisers who booked through CAS.
  3. The Great Outdoors is our favorite place on that class of ship.
  4. I do not receive mail offers from CAS, but I do receive good offers when I call them. You might get a percent off, or you might get a comped cabin (paying admin & port fees.) I don't know how much you play, or if the tables tracked your play, but it never hurts to call and ask: For casino information and reservations, contact a Casinos At Sea Cruise Specialists 9:00AM to 7:00PM EST Monday to Friday 1-877-PLAY NCL (1-877-752-9625)
  5. It most likely goes into effect for cruises that start on April 1st or after. I agree- not happy if they are eliminating the drinks in the casino😒
  6. Adding the prior program's descriptions below (before they disappear off website): 1Discount only applicable on stateroom categories up to Mini Suite(MB). Excludes POA. 2Free Play awarded to qualifying member if sailing in their birthday month. 3Cruise Limits apply. 4Discount amount varies. Only applicable up to stateroom Category A (OCI) and suite Category A (RSSC). 5Limits apply at the discretion of casino management. 6Onboard Credit is non-refundable. 7Ruby Package: 400 minutes OR 1250mb. Elite Package: Unlimited up to 12 days. 8One (1) complimentary shore excursion, up to a $300/pp value for 1st and 2nd guest. 9Service charges waived for 1st and 2nd guest on sailings up to 12 days. 10Private transfers applicable to/from ship or home – hotel – airport only. 25 mile limit each way.
  7. @UKstages, it looks like you were correct in your thread under Casino Conversations. Program changes, but we still will need to see some T&Cs about what each level will receive.
  8. Hmmm....maybe 'water package' is replacing free drinks in casino? Probably a limited number of water cartons based on your tier? I don't like it. We usually bypass the FAS drink package and get by with the drinks from the casino. It looks like it might be adding internet package to Sapphire. As Ruby, we have always gotten 400 minutes of WiFi.
  9. Happy to see that it is again showing as sailing from PC now. We really enjoyed sailing from there last year.
  10. That looks like an interesting lunch menu at Cagney's. Did they also invite those from the non-Haven suites? Looking forward to following along with your cruise. Hopefully, your mom will be feeling up to travel again soon!
  11. Sorry, I haven't tried to use one with another type. However, the actual CASNext certificate I received came with Terms & Conditions that said that it couldn't be used with CNext or CFirst certificates.
  12. Mine just says 'Casino-Value'.....not sure what that means? I've been Ruby Tier in casino for a few years.
  13. @UKstages, you've listed a lot of good ideas. I do love the new CASNext certificates. Hopefully, there will be some more changes like the ones you have suggested. Congrats on making Elite! Can you tell me where you were expecting to see 'Elite' listed online? I've never seen anything listed on my ncl account regarding my Ruby status.
  14. Very much enjoying your review! Big congrats for getting your A1C lowered and losing those pounds. You deserve an awesome cruise! Thanks for sharing with us😎 We love Captain Ron too! Our most memorable viewing of the movie was on the deck of a Barefoot Windjammer cruise about 20 or so years ago. We were all sitting under a sailcloth to protect us from the hard rainstorm. It was great fun and we continue to love the movie. And remember, if your ship gets lost just pullover and ask directions😉
  15. If MDR menus are changing as noted in this thread, is there someone onboard who can post three or four days worth?
  16. We read shops were changing. Is there still a Pandora shop? Hope you are having a great cruise 😎
  17. Prima has a limited number of Club Balconies. They are all forward or aft. The aft are only available on decks nine to eleven below the Haven cabins. Our aft CB on eleven was extremely spacious and had a great balcony view.
  18. It's been over a year since we sailed on Prima but I recall it being open every day for lunch. I just wish they would expand the lunch hours.
  19. We had some good food at one of those places. I think it was called Gators??? It was fun and we had a great server.
  20. Los Lobos, Onda and Hasuki. With two more we would do Los Lobos and Onda again. The Los Lobos on Prima was the best LL we have been to. Onda is always outstanding.
  21. Yes, Encore was open on embarkation day and got very busy. The new menu seemed popular as a complimentary venue.
  22. It's no longer showing on our April 5 cruise. We did not see it on our last Prima due to reviews we had read here.
  23. @CruisnHallelujahs those pictures look great! When we got pineapple it was full rings half dipped. We loved it
  24. Yes, it's 5000 tier points for $250 CASNext and 10,000 tier points for $500 CASNext. I've used several now. Make sure you haven't played your points for freeplay. Just let the hosts know you want to 'purchase' a certificate and what denomination. They will print out and sign a certificate for you. It can take a few days or a week or so for the CASNext certificate to be visible to the CAS agents for booking your next cruise. If you have an odd amount of tier points left they can carryover to your next cruise and be used on that one to purchase the certificate. Just remember you have to book AND cruise within one year of 'purchasing' the certificates.
  25. Yes, we can also recommend BW Cocoa Beach. We stayed there last May pre cruise. Weather was great and saw lots of people enjoying the beach by the pier.
