Wondering as well?

I am happy to report we head south in just 57 day, Between now and then we have a busy summer so I expect time to fly.
-
Don't know of a rule, but if it is allowed and she really wanted to swim I would suggest maybe an evening swim when the pool may be empty.

Wow, this is exactly the issue we are dealing with. We are considering a b2b on the Horizon so the extra cost would be doubled. I really feel the loss of closet space could be an issue also.

Thanks for all of your responses. Hubby and I travel alone, so I know we don' face the challenges of a family, but I can' t relax in a mess. I am sure our room steward loves us because there is seldom anything out of place. Any more ideas would be great.

Organization tips: I know once in a while someone mentions things they do to keep their room organized, but I would love all your ideas about where to find room for everything.
We are sailing in an inside room in September and know it will be tight, but expect to have about the same amount of storage as on past cruises. Our next cruise however we are considering The Horizon and know the room we are looking at only has two closets and one of those has the safe and drawers in it. Can't image where everything will go.
Ideas???

I am so sorry this happened to your family Unfortunately teenagers so often don't seem to comprehend the consequences of the things they do. I would agree with others who say wait a little, get your head together on how to approach it and let him approach them. They might just be impressed if he is able to maturely convince them of his regret. Worth a shot.

Ok you guys have me excited now. We got a really sweet upsell to a spa balcony and are really looking forward to the perks. Question how big are the slipper DH is a 13 and I am 11. Any chance they will fit either of us?
-
Any clue what they paid?

From all the reading I have done over the years on here, my understanding is they will base on the age they are at the beginning of the cruise. That being said many, but not all, have said that they have made an exception for them. Good luck. Although I never had children in their programs, I know I would feel better if they were together.

Would love to have this information as well.

DH an I share the responsibility. One will put things in the wash, the other switch them over etc. Really not a big deal. We just choose a time when we are chilling in our room and it gets done pretty quickly. Now that we are platinum we may not need it, but doing a b2b makes it hard to have 2 weeks worth of clean clothes.
-
Actually we have sailed in the same cabin on a b2b more than once and we were excused from muster drill the second week.

Start a thread with the name of the ship and date. It might catch someone's attention.

Ok, so I am not a young thing and have not been thin since I had my first child 34 years ago. That being said I am still self conscious about how I look. On a cruise I always go out of my way to try to look extra good by the clothes I wear and the way I fix myself up. Bottom line when I cruise I actually feel better about myself. If you are sure your man loves you trust that love. Question... would you care how he looked if the rolls were reversed?

DH often takes his back to the room. We have learned when we cruise to bring a few small disposable containers to put leftovers such as the cheese or trays we might order.

Sorry for the delayed reply. Busy day. We are sailing b2b on the 1st and 8th of September, both 7 day cruises.
-
Just curious which nights are formal on both the eastern and western itineraries. Thanks!
-
I remember when the sunshine first sailed. All the reviews seemed to be terrible. Now when you read one they seem much better. I agree getting used to a different class of ship can be a big deal.
-
Best category of room ever, congrats!
-
Thanks so much for doing this review. Most who compare size of ships have gone from smaller older to larger newer. Nice to hear the opposite perspective.

For me my solution is to make a list and start cleaning. My cruise is about 130 days out so my house should be really clean by the time we leave.

Looking forward to your review

Thank you so much for your review. We sail in just 25 short days so I really am needing my cruise fix.
