Glad she was able to board. I hope she has a wonderful cruise!

Really enjoying your review. Will be on the Magic in the fall and just can't get enough. Thanks for taking the time to do this.

We have done a few b2bs and for one we were the only ones. We found we were treated like rock stars the second week by the staff. We were sailing out of San Juan where both weeks had the same itinerary. Because of that I suspect they rarely had b2b cruisers. Anyway b2bs rock.

I would also like the answer to this question.

We choose your time dining partly to get a flexible meal time and partly because we don't want to feel any sort of obligation to show up. We do usually go early but always feel bad when we don't show up for a meal. I suspect some choose it because they don't want to leave an extra tip which is easier with ytd.

I also would like to know the answer.

It may be a long way off, but at least now you can start planning.

Looking forward to your review. We sail on her in September and can't wait. Have a wonderful voyage.

My only hint is don' let me help you. I never get a good deal. SORRY!

I can't answer to cost, because I was never charged. I will however say that when I broke my arm on a cruise a few years back that the care I got from the infirmary was excellent. I would not hesitate to go if I ever had the need.

Megans Bay feels sort of like our home beach because we have been there many times and love it, but the beach that really wowed us we Gold Rock beach in Freeport. We went there as part of a kayaking excursion and when we walked out to the beach we were blown away. Not so easy to get to but well worth the effort.

We actually did a b2b on the Valor out of San Juan back in 2014. The itineraries were the same and we loved it. We were able to do something in one port and nothing in the next and then trade it up on the next week. We found it to be a very relaxing way to spend a vacation. Would do it again if they would switch up ships out of San Juan.

Can you tell me how many closets did it have, and also is the Havana bar area busy? Thinking we could sit outside and read in some of those little nooks, but that wouldn't work if it was busy all the time.

We would love to go back and sail this itinerary again, but would rather do it on a Conquest or Dream class ship. We were however interested to hear how the fascination made out in dry dock and whether we should reconsider and maybe sail on it. Not the news we were hoping to hear.

Crème Brule (Spelling?) An absolute must have. Wish I could have it every night.

So what is the amount of the delivery fee?
-
any pictures out there??

Both are great

For us it would definitely be the Glory. It was our first so a real sentimental favourite. Overall though we prefer the conquest class.

The ship we are thinking about is the new Carnival Horizon. We have only sailed the Caribbean, but to be honest we really like the warm water,(we are from Canada), so I am not so sure that would be for us. Any other ideas for a special cruise for our 40th that wouldn't break the bank. We have considered a river cruise in Europe...
-
For those who have sailed in both the Caribbean and along the west coast. How are they different? Which do you prefer? I see the new ship is going there. We are looking to mix things up some for our 2020 cruise as we will be celebrating our 40th anniversary. Thought this might be an option.

Picture anyone???

Both times recently when I have applied for a small price drop, when I got my reply they gave me significantly more than I applied for. Glad I didn't pass on the small price drop.

Actually I am sure I have read on here that some have successfully done it. Yes I am sure you would have to take it down when not in use. Do a little more searching and I am sure you will find where it has been done.
