  1. I figured that 3:00pm would be the very latest arrival, if there was a cancelled flight or delay on a prior flight. Was basically looking for what the latest boarding time would be for a 9:00pm sailing time.
  2. My 2 cents.....we exchanged 3 specialty reservations for Red Ginger (5 Total Red Ginger) and had the Miso Sea Bass every time. Only difference were the appetizers that changed each night. And we had the same table and wait staff. Had something in the Terrace Cafe each day/night. Sorry to hear about Sea Bass replacement.
  3. I only asked because we are arriving LAX around 3pm with a departure of 9pm, so I guess any time before 7pm is ok.
  4. We had 8002 a number of years ago, only disturbance was from a crew door opposite our cabin. We have 8004 on Regatta coming up next year, hope its ok with the water closets above.
  5. Thank you Mrs f. Kind of what I thought.
  6. Leaving from San Pedro what would the embarkation start for a 9PM sail away?
  7. Sounds familiar, I believe that is what we did, I'm looking at our boarding passes and BAR Code that I downloaded along with the info for arrival at terminal, check in time, passports and any visa's that may be required.
  8. We just returned from a TA in April on Marina, and we didn't have a photo of us until we checked in at the terminal. We did however receive our boarding passes with our eDocs along with our luggage tags.
  9. We are looking at a Prima cruise in suite 10352. Has anyone stayed in this suite? Pros/cons etc. Thank you Dennis
  10. FWIW, we had 11080 for a TA in 2014. Some noise from above early morning when they were arranging tables and chairs, sliding across the deck. Also some vibration when maneuvering to park. Would I select that cabin again.....in a heart beat. That balcony is probably the best to be had on the entire ship, along with 11083. Our next TA, we will try the Vista Suite. In any case you will love the crossing. DB
  11. Thank you, was kind of thinking that would be the time.
  12. Ship is scheduled to arrive 0600, question is what is the latest time we can disembark? As we are not on a time schedule. Thanks
  13. cant really say, but, was in Da Nang in 1969
  14. not while anchored or parked. 😁
  15. Thank you LHT, greatly appreciated. DB
  16. Here's my question........cruise only no additional packages, purchasing beverages at the bar/restaurant, if I prepay gratuities, is there still a 20% gratuity added to the beverage charge?
  17. We use Embassy Suites at MIA. Airport to hotel shuttle very frequent. If there on a week day, managers cocktail hour for a couple of cocktails/wine/beer. Made to order breakfast in the mornings prior to the port. Usually take Lyft to the port. We have also stayed there prior to continuing flights to the Caribbean for a vacation.
  18. We used them last Aug in LAX. Pre-paid on line. Was skeptical at first, check in was fine, then to the waiting area where it took about an hour to finally get the car. I watched every one ahead of us check out their car with a fine tooth comb. Some complaining about being charged for the previous driver not clearing some issue with the electronic dashboard stuff. I took photo after photo of all scratches, blemishes, and dents of all sizes prior to handing/signing off on receiving the car. The car was a hybrid, didn't really know how to operate all the gadgets. Used the car for 6 days returned it with no problems, the final billing came with no issues or added charges. On a side note we had more problems in Dallas with Thrifty.
  19. "Oops, I realized I forgot the forgotten-generation to which my parents and in-laws belong. Sorry!" Yeah well don't let it happen again.
  20. I don't know about a parrot, looks more like a parakeet.
  21. Thank you to Bruce and FL.....looks like that is what I'll do. DB
  22. Just a question......how far in advance should one reserve a car for transportation the port to Rome?
