  1. New info regarding changes to C & A benefits on the Adventure of the Seas:

     "Dear Guest,
Your vacation onboard Adventure of the Seas® is right around the corner! And we’d like to thank you for being part of Royal Caribbean® history as you join us on one of our first sailings back to the Caribbean. There’s so much to look forward to. And, to get you even more excited before you go, we want to share some of the great enhancements as well as some changes to our Crown & Anchor® Society program and benefits.
We’re thrilled to offer you additional beverage vouchers to be used at any bar, at any time or in the Diamond Lounge during the nightly Happy Hour. Each day of the cruise, Diamond members receive four vouchers, Diamond Plus members receive five vouchers, and Pinnacle Club members receive six vouchers. Each voucher is for drinks up to $13. Consider it happy hour all day long! You’ll also love our newly reimagined behind-the-scenes entertainment tour and a Meal with an Officer, priority access to all shows, and new ways of recognizing our new Pinnacle Club members.
As we return to service, some benefits and services have changed. To follow new health protocols and better manage the flow of guests in terminals, the check-in process will be different. All guests will be required to select an arrival time in advance via the Royal Caribbean app. However, Pinnacle Club members can enjoy Flexible Arrival — a new program allowing the freedom to check-in up to one hour before or after your scheduled check-in time while
    the terminal is open.
Onboard, we must adhere to new healthy sail protocols and capacity limits in most venues. So, access to Suite and Concierge lounges will only be limited to members staying in Suites. Your Loyalty Ambassador will share more detailed information with you onboard.
As always, we thank you for your continued support of Royal Caribbean. As our most loyal guests, we can’t wait to make incredible vacation
    memories together again.
    See you onboard!

Another thought,,, on my pack list (yeah, I have a pack list) I have included medications and essential toiletries/cosmetics for an additional week+. This is the first cruise with undisciplined Americans who think that they know

it all. Kind of mitigating the risk of getting stuck on the ship due to uncertainty of the state of passengers. Or stuck in the Bahamas if the RCCL  bargain basement Covid test tags us with a false positive.

FDA: The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is alerting clinical laboratory staff and health care providers that false positive results can occur with antigen tests

True, but they are more likely to be false negative than positive

  3. There is such a continuous swirl of new information,  It is so confusing to try to remember what is currently applicable.

I thought somewhere I read that Royal will not be doing the temp checks and the antigen tests for those over 16 who are fully vaccinated.                                            I think we will only need to complete the health questionnaire on our phones the day before boarding,  At check in, just sign the health declaration, show passport, and vaccination proof.  Cabin keys will be in our staterooms.

I am amused that you'd say that when the term, "sail away from the safe harbor. "

    is right in your signature.............

Others may book with trepidation and worry.  That is why I made reference to other's peril.  I am not afraid to leave the safe harbor.  Currently have 28 cruises booked on Royal and a few other on other lines before next June.    I believe in the lasting nature of cruising and was never concerned with bankruptcy, etc.  Still have my 200 shares of Royal.

When is your cruise? Let's hope it's later, rather then sooner............Later ones actually have a better chance of sailing I think?

Does anyone know if that Price Adjustment OBC transfers to a new booking at long as you keep the same booking number, or is that OBC lost if the original cruise is canceled?

Your cruise refund or FCC would be for the original cruise fare less the taxes/fees.  OBC just goes back into your original payment.

Also, you have a TA, they can make the quickest fare.OBC adjustment-immediately.

He said there will be people unable to be vaccinated for medical or religious reasons.  All anyone who doesn't want to get the vaccine has to say is they can't for "religious" reasons.  My parents neighbor already is planning to say this and she hasn't stepped foot in a church in the 25 years I've known her.

But don't they still have to be included among the 5% non-vaccinated?  So how will they determine who would be booked within the 5% which also includes children?  First Come First Served?

What you’ll catch is called the seasonable FLU.  Have we all forgotten that we do and will get the flu or are they now lumping the flu with Covid-19 to get people even more paranoid?

Tsk, tsk.  Believe or not whatever you choose.  There is a difference between the flu and Covid.  I pray you never personally find out.

So, Florida commencing the litigation to permit cruising is deemed to be getting in the way of cruising from Florida?  OK.  🙃  Ooops.  Forgot to mention the Governor, which is really what this is all about isn't it?

It's about Florida.  The legislature passed the bill prohibiting "vaccination passports" not just the governor.

  9. I wonder if Brilliance will even be able to sail from Tampa this summer.  Cruise info seems to center around the east coast terminals.  hope I am wrong since we have many Brilliance booked this fall. '

The pricing in the fall is higher than usual but I realize that Royal had to put a lot of changes ($) into their ship to begin to satisfy Safe Sail requirements.

I agree. They've been gradually modifying the CSO quite frequently lately.  It's going to come to a point when the original CSO looks nothing like any near future guidance.

Agree wholeheartedly.  I think the "no vaccine no sail" will be around much longer as it's a good middle ground to stand on, but the masks everywhere will be gone soon.
