  1. Love your beautiful fall colors photos! The peaceful and serene feelings really come through. Thank you for sharing.
  2. must be the Veterens Day sale 4 perks for price of 2? maybe for new cruise bookings. Were still looking at the Drinks ^ More, wondering if worth the extra $.
  3. Hi TravelingT, Where did you find 50% off beverage package? my cruise planner shows Premium @ $69 per day.
  4. Back to Jim & his awesome photos... I really want to go to Greece & also Capri for the Blue Grotto now!!!
  5. Is this the Puerto Rico excursion at Bacardi billed as a Captain Club exclusive tour? We are booked on this in December, also wondering if worth the $.
  6. Hint to Celebrity- If Bacio is this popular and gets this many comments, why not make a second specialty coffee/tea area on the ship? Sounds like an idea that would make many customers happy 🙂
  7. Hi Dancer OT, the walking Rum tour sounds like a possibility-was it through the ship or private? If private, can you either share their website or give a partial name so I can google it?
  8. Thank you tgg-I will put the art gallery on my list too, the map on the site you linked also showed a couple more museums near the art gallery, could make for a good afternoon of wandering. We will be coming off of a couple of snorkeling days at St Thomas and Tortola so this will change things up a bit. Thanks again everyone for all suggestions!
  9. Not overthinking, I'm just a planner and love to explore what is available during the months before the cruise. That's why I love cruise critic, especially Celebrity boards because there are so many travellers with great tips. 🙂 That Pirate Republic Bahamas Brewing sounds like it could be a good spot to try. We are from San Diego where there are many Craft Breweries to enjoy. Was this walkable from the ship? or would we catch a taxi?
  10. Thanks for responses so far, I know there is a Port of Call site for Bahamas, but I like Celebrity board advice best. We will be there December 27 toward the end of our cruise. I am afraid that the Atlantis will be mobbed with people. Sometimes at Christmas break hotels can be over-crowded for day pass users too. Anyone have good experience with a private tour? Not shopping.
  11. We have been to many ports in the Caribbean on Celebrity but never Nassau Bahamas. Did anyone have a particularly good tour in Nassau -with Celebrity or on your own? What does a great day in Nassau look like?
  12. Hi Summertrav, We went on the AmaLea Danube cruise from Budapest to Vilshofen 8/30/19-9/6/19. It was wonderful, you will love it! If you chose the "Queen of the Danube Tour", it included a 2 hour bus ride plus 1 hour, 30 minutes of walking. While driving we saw many monuments and sites including; the City Park, National Opera House, St Stephen's Basilica a Synagoge and had a picture stop at Heroes' Square. We also had a walking stop at Buda Castle Hill and Fisherman's Bastion. We also stopped and went inside the Great Market Hall. We had stayed overnight 1 night pre-cruise. We managed a Viator tour on embarkation day where they picked us up at our hotel and we took a mini-bus to Goldolo Palace for a tour then on to Lazar Horse Ranch for a tour, horse carriage ride, horse riding show. They dropped us back in Budapest in the early afternoon so it was easy to make the late afternoon embarkation. There are so many interesting things to choose from in Budapest, you will have a hard time deciding. Ama did not do the night-time illumination cruise on the river. We did cruise by the Parliment Building the next day in daylight. You can book a tour with one of the small boats separately if you have your heart set on a night time illumination cruise. It was a very busy river in the evening, we sat on top and watched all of the tour boats go by. Enjoy your trip!
  13. Hi Paul, Thank you for another live cruise. We got back last week from an Ama Danube River cruise and am missing being on the water. When you finish this cruise would you please comment on if you had to choose between a Trans-Atlantic and a Trans-Pacific, which would you take? We have not done either but when I retire...
