Maybe You are probably going to end up paying the $$ amount for the excursions anyway so people will book shorex example If you get the $1000 credit per cabin you will probably get at least 2=3 shorex PP so much like the O life now except you can book OE or FT etc with the credit Of course this is just my interpretation 8 more days to go 😉

Final payment is different date than when the penalty period kicks in They no longer refund the admin fee if you cancel before final payment & the penalty date I would check with your TA or Oceania I think the 10% is a typo but I could be wrong

Some lines where wine is included they usually offer red or white so there is no problem for refills On Oceania you may order a different wine with each course if you choose or order a bottle & another couple may order a different bottle the staff know who ordered what They will pour your bottle for you & their bottle for the other party IME They take your card at the end of the meal to bill your account accordingly So far it has worked for us but I am sure things may get mixed up on occasion

I for one like my steak plain no salt or seasonings YMMV

These days with the ships sailing full & some cruises fully waitlisted chances of upgrades or upsells on the ship could be slim I guess it never hurts to ask 🤔

You can ask them when you want dinner served in your cabin they will deliver canapes late afternoon if you want them they can bring breakfast for you shine your shoes make extra specialty reservations

I would go to reception & ask for a comment card & also a chat with the GM or concierge If the Butler is not doing his/her job then time to speak up & get a different Butler JMO

What is the deviation fee now? We usually would pay the fee & request flights These days the airlines are changing flights right left & centre Have had my flights changed twice this month for our fall cruise

There used to be a store at Bayside mall that would store bags for fee not sure if it is still there

At the end of the meal they will ask for your ship card Some just put it on the edge of the table at the end of the meal before dessert Personal choice We have never had an issue when sharing a table with others

I have not found $10 bottles of wine where we live in a while maybe just not my tastes 🤔

Most wine onboard is a lot cheaper to buy off the ship Take your own if you can get it for $10 a bottle then pay the $25 corkage fee if you take it to a dining venue or just drink it in your cabin for no extra cost I have no idea what other lines charge but it seems the norm to add a % gratuity on cruise lines unless all inclusive line If you are used to those lines Oceania may be a shock to your account at the end of the cruise YMMV

That is what I have done in the past The Terrace is the wild card because you have to ask what is in the food My problem is not life threatening so I try just to make safer choices

You should ask to speak to the Chef The server are not always informed as to what the cooks put in the food
