  1. Ouch....so sorry, but better to be safe than sorry for sure. I am sure you will make due being the class act that you are.
  2. @DaveOKC...that is correct, the AARP OBC is only for "certain" cruises.
  3. @jimbo5544....fingers crossed for you...but IMO any cruise is better than no cruise, but I am sure you will have your fair share of complainers. We know it is the Captain's job to keep everyone safe.
  4. It sure sounds like NCL could care less about their booked guests with the little effort they made for you.
  5. Yup rainy season this time of year...but hey you are in your bathing suit!
  6. St. Maarten I would HIGHLY recommend a day trip with Random Wind.....all inclusive food, beverages, swimming, with a tarzan swing, an absolutely FANTASTIC day. We have done this excursion several times. The water is just amazing. Whatever you do please remember to share back with the CC community!
  7. Now today will be interesting for sure....between Mr. Sancho's all inclusive and 15 for Cheers let's see how @MeganGC1983 shares with us thruout the day and evening activities. I have no doubts she will perform top notch!
  8. @Saint Greg....oh what drama I wake up to this morning for my first cup of coffee. That s_ _ K _ NCL surely did wrong by you booking those flights. Missed flight, lack of shut eye, nasal congestion, cough, lack of food.....and what else....sure no way to wrap up a great time in Alaska. Still following til the end, stay safe.
  9. @Saint Greg...do you have to work tomorrow? Safe travels home.
  10. I'll make a note of this for future reference (ha ha)! Your VV cruise is getting CLOSER!
  11. @Saint Greg...wow the Hop On Hop Off has changed a lot since I took it back in May 2009. Back then it was an open air trolley, We paid $5 at the port to store our luggage for the day as we had a red eye out of Vancouver. We walked out to the curb at the port and purchased our Hop On Hop Off tickets and off we went. Guess Vancouver has grown over the years. When we arrived pre-cruise we stayed at Blue Horizon and morning of the cruise they kept our luggage for free, plus a nice tip and we went over to Capillano Susension Bridge, what an experience! Ironic you mentioned a Triathalon today, when we cruise out of Vancouver May 2025 we are there the night before the race and it is going to be difficult to get a hotel room...sigh...it's always something. Enjoy your day in Vancouver!
  12. @Saint Greg...your photos have been spectacular this cruise! I also am not a fan of sauce poured all over my meat....I prefer taste the flavor of the meat not cover it with seasonings and sauces, make me feel like they are trying to hide something they don't want us to discover! Enjoy your final hours on the ship!
  13. I have my print out that I will bring to verify it was applied! But yes 2025 is a long way off, God willing I live to get there!
  14. @Saint Greg...THANKS for the detailed Brothel tour, I really enjoyed it, times have changed but yet they haven't changed, if you get my drift. Hard to believe this Alaska cruise is winding down and we will have to wait for your next adventure. You have covered a LOT of ground this cruise and it is always interesting!
  15. @glorialagos....sorry for your "issues" with HAL. No "resolutions" situation here but it did take me TWO phone calls and getting a supervisor involved to receive my AARP credits on my booked cruises. It seems like this "OBC gift" is a pain in the neck for HAL so I am guessing it won't last long unless they somehow get things smoothed out. HAL is using a 3rd party to verify membership and how it works after that I do not know. I kept the email that my membership had been verified and I had to give the HAL rep the date of the email when speaking with the supervisor who the rep contacted to get the credit. Sounds like your HAL rep needed to contact a supervior and/or maybe the supervisors are exhausted from dealing with this issue?
  16. @Saint Greg...more great pictures from Skagway! I did the White Pass train ride in May 2009, seems like a lifetime ago! That is when I learned about the college kids getting summer jobs in Alaska, what a great way to see our country! I found it fascinating realizing that the early miners tackled that rugged area in search of gold! We sure have it easy in today's world compared to what they endured. I also remember the train stopping to let passengers off to go hiking and picking other passengers up when they were done hiking or off backpacking...pretty unique and great memories for sure!
  17. @Saint Greg....Spirit class is our all time favorite class of Carnival ships!
