We’re seasoned cruisers but only 2 or 3 with Carnival. What are journey cruises, how are they different and what makes them special?

This may not be the correct board to post and I’ve also posted on my roll call but it’s not very active. Flying into Quebec and first time in Canada. Do we need any documents? Any forms to fill out? ANYTHING other than passport??? Scared to death we’ll get to the airport or to customs and be denied because of something we didn’t do.

We received our full deposit. Was told it would take about 2 weeks, but it actually took closer to 2 months (for the first amount). It was refunded in 3 different segments. Received the fees and taxes first, then a strange amount shortly afterwards. The remaining $107 and cents came about a month later.

Thank you for the comparison. We’re diamond + with Royal and have a number with various other lines. This will be our first with Princess. Looking for a quieter, calmer line.

Looking at Hotel Manoir Victoria. Thoughts? Opinions? Could I uber from aiport to hotel, hotel to cruise port?

Just a thought…Since #3 was free and #4 would be paying for double, why couldn’t #3 just change sleeping arrangement once onboard and pay #4 individually for half?

What about ice? We will usually go back to our cabin after lunch for a while and like to have a soda or cold water and again after we get back to our cabin at night. Steward would give us ice morning and evening. Since no ice machines, where would we get ice?

Is it possible to request a table for 2 and not be seated with others? If so, how is it done and when?

Do aft facing balconies on deck 7 (not jr suites) have chairs and loungers? Can't get a clear answer. Only old YouTube videos.

We were instructed to go to the regular self assist area and when debarking starts to just walk to the front of the line. We thought that there would be a staff member directing things...but NOOOOO...not a good thing!!

This is what they told us to do on Liberty in September. NOT a good thing.....almost started a riot.

Does the key offer priority debarkation? Is there an assigned area keys wait to debark in front of everyone else lined up for debarkation, or just get in line with the rest of the self-carry folks?

What was the approximate cost for uber from port to ny airport?

Their "sales" are just marketing gimmicks. Prices artificially inflated to be able to offer a large discounts that looks good and the price is just what it was before the "sale". It's confusing to everyone except us old timers that know better. The worst thing it's done is to virtually eliminate our loyalty balcony discount.

We have our first Princess cruise booked. I’m unfamiliar with cabin categories. What category are these cabins?

First time Princess cruiser here. Do we need to order our medallions or will they just show up a couple of weeks prior to cruise?

Looking at the same itinerary. One on Vision from Baltimore. Other on Liberty from New Jersey. We’re fine with either ship. Never been to the north east so my question is which airport / cruise port is the easiest to navigate. Will fly in at least one day prior and will need transportation from airport to hotel, hotel to cruise port. ANY information is appreciated.

Where did you find this? I haven’t seen it. Don’t want to miss anything.

We were switched from Adventure to Voyager on a b2b. Website login showed the change and our same cabins. I called and got an updated invoice and everything looked good. I was doing a routine price check today on all our booked cruises by doing a dummie booking. Our cabin showed available on our 2nd leg. I called and the rep confirmed our cabin was different on their end. She could not explain why all other documents showed our original cabin. Can't imagine the mess if we hadn't caught it. Guess we'd be sharing a cabin with strangers :). So.....even if everything looks correct, be sure to keep any eye on your cabin.

Who's done this? Can you explain it, the description isn't clear. We did a partial transit several years ago and then took a smaller boat and went through the rest of the locks. Looking to do that again, but can't find anything.
