I've eventually got around to updating the blog etc as I didn't have a picture of Jane in her dress for the Gala night, I got a copy of the table photo belonging to our tablemates tonight and updated my blog with that at https://blog.rakkor.uk

Bought? This is some of the sourdough made by myself and my sister in law(her birthday present) at a Bread Ahead baking course the day before we embarked in this cruise, I had to give away all of mine except for the baguette which made lovely traveling sarnies

Have you experienced the mountain road from Andalnes that really is exciting especially when you meet another coach coming the other way?
To be honest the wiggly cliff road wasn't the issue, it was reversing at the top of the mountain with a massive drop either side I wasn't so keen on..

What a shame Jane missed Santorini, I hate heights and cable cars but I've managed the journey down twice!
I'm not sure she feels she missed out after speaking to our table mates. Also our tour never went to Fira, so those views were never an option. She is looking forward to Cephalonia tomorrow though

Yesterday's Santorini visit and today's Daily Programme have now been published https://blog.rakkor.uk
Luckily we never had the tribulations that @sogne had with the cable car as our shore excursion left from the new port at Athinios, but we had the cliff road to negotiate which was a scary proposition

Our tablemats said it was awful, not helped by the MSC tenders being disembarked half way along the queue

@NE John Unfortunately I've not got @rafinmd's scanner so I'm unable to post the daily menus in real-time they will have to wait for my return, but we've not had any noticeable Greek dishes on the PG menu. We did have a chicken pitta as a lunch sandwich and I've seen honey cake but no Kleftiko or Stifado so far

Latest post and Daily Programme uploaded https://blog.rakkor.uk
I was given one task this morning, do the laundry - I loaded it all correctly, set the correct settings and set it off. When I went back 40 minutes later the door light was still flashing and it hadn't started, I nudged the door and it started properly this time - soooo mad!

No idea why, but that latest link always brings me back to this page.
I caught up with the blog through the browsers autocomplete. Interesting as usual!
Sorry it's a typo on my part ";" instead of ":" in the URL should be https://blog.rakkor.uk

Much better - I'm desperately hoping I've not passed it on to Jane or our table mates, or I'm not going to hear the last of it

I'm a bit slow updating the blog today, myVoyage has been down since the itinerary change, some were saying it was down to people crashing the intranet trying to change their shore excursions, but that seems a bit far fetched to me - anyway both yesterday's blog and today's Daily Programme are now available at https;//blog.rakkor.uk

Yes, I suspect that, for those that haven’t been to Crete, this is a change for the better, but most people probably have. This will be out second visit to Crete, both times because of a rearranged schedule, the last time was because we couldn't get into Ephesus because of the abortive coup attempt in Turkey

I hope you don't mind me saying, but the symptoms you are describing sound exactly like Covid (my husband and myself had it 6 weeks ago)
That was my first thought, which was why we bought a test kit in Cadiz which thankfully came back negative.
