  1. Yes - trim the excess off the labels, fold in half lengthways and then fold in half across the middle - I have my name and phone hidden inside - if access is needed then the porters can just extract the label from the holder - see below
  2. These all fitted under the bed - it took a bit of stacking cases in cases, but it worked in included Jane's hand luggage, not shown (a smaller version of the top red suitcase)
  3. Alternatively get a set of these from Amazon - Luggage Tags - Link and fit them once you've retrieved your luggage at the airport - other brands are available (Top Tip - Print labels at 130% and trim the excess before folding for a perfect fit)
  4. We did a TA followed by a Caribbean cruise in 2019 flying back to the uk from NYC, that was 19 nights and didn't want to get off, so much so we investigated returning with QM2 rather than fly but the cost was a bit to steep.
  5. Boarding passes worked on QV last time we did it
  6. They were doing the same in the bay at Port de Pollenca in Mallorca last week
  7. Just adding the email address and in case people do require it If you have any questions about the Stockperks app, please contact carnivalcorp@stockperks.com. The Stockperks Carnival page is here - https://www.stockperks.com/carnivalcorp
  8. Jane recieved an email asking her to fill in a new survey today, which she handed off to me and several of the questions involved printed luggage lables including this one I selected the luggage labels
  9. Yep, looking at that photo it looks like the last 3 balcony cabins are glass fronted, but whether glass or metal, they are well worth it Jane with her pre-pandemic short hair
  10. My blog post back in 2016 HERE.... on QE shows the metal fronted QE balcony on deck 4 Fwd - I'm sure it's the same on QV with the Aft balconies glass and the Fwd balconies metal.
  11. There is also a sling - just visible in the top L/H corner of the photo, for disabled guests to be assisted into the water. The Pavillion pool is one of my favorite locations on a stormy crossing to relax and read while listening to the house band in the run up to lunch.
  12. Indeed, @roscoe39 was the intended tagee, I would have linked his and @safarigal's blogs directly, but I thought they would be better placed to.
  13. Calling @Roscoe @safarigal could you help this traveller out?
  14. The largest table in PG on both QE & QV is usually a mix of solo travellers and couples who always look like they are having a whale of a time, saying that we have met solo travellers in PG who prefer to eat alone, so you are not forced to mix if you don't want to. As already stated the QE & QV Courtyard, situated between the PG & QG restaurants is for alfresco dining. https://photo.rakkor.uk/mo/sharing/a3Nl2zDca Viewed from the Deck 12 Grills Terrace

    Canaries

The Bay of Biscay can be a bit lumpy at that time of year, Madeira is very nice in the run up to Xmas. Our last cruise there was on QE in 2017 and I did write a blog about it Link... , which seems to be a lot about how bouncy the sea was. We did enjoy it though and will be returning in February on QM2.
  16. On Queen Victoria, Deck 4 Aft (glass balconies) and Deck 4 fwd (metal balconies) have significantly larger balconies and are generally great value.
  17. I received $250 last week for our 14 night November cruise
  18. Yes, that's the one we're on in Nov
  19. We usually buy the Wine packages pre-cruise, but having been disappointed with the selection in the Commodore's collection on our last two cruises we're going to wait until we board before purchasing. We've a huge amount of OBC because of the triple OBC special offer, for November's QA cruise, which we'll struggle to spend.
  20. And the Commodore Club from April 23 Page 17 for the wines Commodore _Club.pdf
  21. Here's the Chart Room menu from October 23 Page 31 0nwards are the Fizz and Whites not a massive selection though - A small Sancerre is $11.70 Chart Room Menu.pdf
  22. You should have already uploaded passport, NOK, and insurance in My Cunard. The Check in process is just to upload a photo and associate a credit card with your cruise and the photo doesn't matter that much, they retook mine on our last cruise at the check-in desk
  23. I tried to claim shareholder OBC for my Februrary 2025 cruise in the app, that got me a pop-up saying come back in November you can only claim for cruises up to Dec 31st, so yes bending, but suggesting that there is a 3 month rule at the same time.
  24. For now But it does look like there will be an email option @Victoria2 hidden in my earlier post Is Stockperks available on desktop? No. Currently Stockperks is only available via mobile app (Android and iOS). However, Stockperks is developing an email and web based process that guests will be able to use in lieu of the app and this is expected sometime in March
  25. I did and they just referred me to Stockperks see below RESPONSE EMAIL ONLY - PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL Thank you for contacting Carnival UK, Shareholder Benefits inbox, please accept this as an auto acknowledgement to confirm your email has been received. If your email relates to a request for your shareholder onboard credit benefit for your upcoming sailing, please see the information below regarding a change to our current process. Carnival Corporation have partnered with Stockperks, an application that connects retail investors to public companies to bring an improved, onboard credit request process. As P&O Cruises and Cunard form part of the Carnival Corporation we are now migrating to a new way to request and redeem your shareholder benefit through Stockperks. Full details of the Carnival shareholder benefit program via Stockperks are available at https://www.stockperks.com/carnivalcorp, including how to download the app and a video demo of how to upload your proof of CCL ownership in the app. Below is some further information to assist you with understanding a little more about Stockperks. What is Stockperks? Stockperks is an app-based marketplace that connects public companies like Carnival with their retail investors. Companies create unique perks, like onboard credit for Carnival brand cruises, to reward their loyal shareholders. Why is Carnival partnering with Stockperks? Carnival has a successful shareholder benefit program with a high number of requests coming through each month which are currently all managed manually, therefore resulting in a longer response time for our guests. Stockperks offers a much more automated and streamlined process ensuring these requests can be handled in a much more efficient way. For reference, guests will follow these simple steps to submit their claim: 1. Download the app via the links on the webpage, or search for “Stockperks” in the app store 2. Once downloaded, create a Stockperks user profile 3. Then search for “Carnival” in the app, and select the cruise line the guest is traveling on 4. Click the blue button “Validate your portfolio” and they will be guided through the process of providing their CCL ownership details 5. Once confirmed, they can submit their claim for each eligible booking Is Stockperks available on desktop? No. Currently Stockperks is only available via mobile app (Android and iOS). However, Stockperks is developing an email and web based process that guests will be able to use in lieu of the app and this is expected sometime in March. Is Stockperks secure? The Stockperks service is governed by Stockperks’ Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and may be subject to other Stockperks policies and terms.
