  1. My two mustangs, as I won’t count the mustang 2! A 65 289 Cobrajet 4 speed convertible and my 70 Mach one 351 fastback. I actually did get to ride in a Shelby! Apologies for the multiple posts
  2. Some photos of beautiful Taormina, also highly recommend a Godfather tour
  3. Good morning and thanks all! Will gladly celebrate Mustangs, loved Taomorina, but not Apple Jack🤢 @dfish YUM, Thank you! Well the snow is back again! And again. Here’s yesterday in contrast to the day before, who knows what tomorrow may bring?
  4. Oh dear Jacqui, so sorry to hear this. Hope things work out for the best! Glad you went for medical assistance! Sending extra hugs!
  5. We used Levant Solmaz a local guide who provided transportation as well.
  6. One other thing to be mindful of is cyclone season. Late October or early November is best, and also for the fall colours. love Palm desert too!
  7. We found Montpelier to be a lovely city, Collioure is much smaller, more of a pretty fishing village. Lovely wine in the region as well, nearby Banyuls sur Mer is also a lovely spot, famous for the Banyuls wine, think a dessert wine or aperitif.
  8. I would agree to go with the longer cruise, you will see much more of Japan. Kanazawa allows you to see the magnificent gardens and/ Or the amazing Shirakawa- go thatched villages. Northern Japan was stunning. Hakkodate in the fall would be spectacular. Also strongly recommend you stay a little longer prior and or after the cruise. Kyoto is worthy of several days as is Tokyo. You really don’t need a tour, the trains are excellent and most in the hotels speak English very well. Enjoy this fabulous destination!
  9. Good morning and thanks all! @Quartzsite Cruiser sending my thought for Steve today! @LambKnuckles hope you get a treatment that works! bronchitis is no fun! @StLouisCruisersglad your sister is out of surgery, hope she has a swift recovery! @Cruzin Terri hope the consult is helpful. and wishes to any others with appointments today. I will celebrate the Golden Arches, DH was a manager back in the day and has a Degree from Hamburger University in Chicago. Yes it’s a thing! lol! I also will be forever grateful that Ronald McDonald House provided a home for our daughter and her family for several months when their daughter was hospitalized last year. It’s a charity worth supporting. Well finally the first crocus were blooming yesterday, unfortunately snow is on the way , again,
  10. Good morning and thanks all! @Denise T I am so sorry you are going through this. We had the most wonderful neighbours for over twenty years and then the new ones were ok for awhile and we are now wondering if dementia is involved as the man has become very aggressive but mostly to me, not DH. After living here for thirty years we have no wish to move, but I can certainly understand your desire. It is very wearing to feel like that! Gentle hugs! Hoping you can get a good solution. We spent several k on legal advice, but for us the best advice was to ignore unless we want to spend tens of ks on court. We’d rather spend that travelling! Hiroshima was our first experience of Japan, we would highly recommend it. We were reluctant to visit there but wanted to see it. We were overwhelmed by this wonderful beautiful city that has literally risen from the ashes. We saw the most beautiful parks, Miyajima island, as well as the horrors of the peace park. Try the Okonomiyaki, an amazing meal.
  11. How terribly sad! Hope the ill crew member gets the help needed!
  12. I too wasn’t old enough to buy mine new, the one I wish I’d have kept was my 1970 Mach one 351 Cleveland. Lucky you to have them!

Such a nasty disease. @smitty34877 glad to hear Tana is maintaining and they allowed the nurse to park nearby. As if you need any more challenges! @atexsix condolences Bruno on th d loss of your dad, such a big loss! @ORTravelGalwelcome! I’ll add to the muscle car, my first car purchase was a 65 Mustang convertible with a 289 Cobra Jet 4 speed stick
  14. Oh Bruno, I’m so sorry to hear your news! I hope all the great memories you made will help comfort you! Hugs, b
  15. Sorry we were posting at the same time and I missed this. I’m glad it’s over,I’d encourage you to go the extra step. Sometimes it’s many ups and downs to really find out things and get the appropriate treatment!
  16. You gave me some giggles! Missed the fibre coke, lol! Our first visit was the late the first evening extremely jet lagged. I bought what I thought were chicken skewers. They unfortunately turned out to be chicken skin skewers😱. But I loved the peach coke and Katsu sandwiches and hot milk tea! welcome @LambKnuckles ok. I need to know about your name…. @kazu these updates will be the death of me. Arggh! @luvteaching condolences on the loss of your DSIL @Cruzin Terri my condolences on the loss of your friend! @seagarsmoker so glad it’s all going well! @grapau27 does this mean you are finally going to try HAL?
  17. Good morning and thanks all. My memories of Cozumel from a New Year’s Day a few years ago when billionaires yachts were trying to out compete each other by having his and hers helicopters! We enjoyed the snorkelling, but not quite like Hawaii. Wishing improvement to all those in need, and a good day to all others! So happy to see the bluebirds are back!
  18. I am so happy for you! We were literally blown away by Japan, we didn’t expect to be SO enamoured. I think because we were a bit intimidated with the language and yet we found it wonderfully easy. Wishing you a most wonderful trip! Do check out the vending machines and convenience stores. Strange but fun! Will be happy to follow along!
  19. Good day and thanks to all! A very happy birthday to your DH @Haljo1935 enjoying all the pet photos, But giggled at Oliver helping make the bed. love my grand dogs! And they’re two different labs!
  20. @Quartzsite Cruiser @StLouisCruisers @kazu @dfish@JazzyV @smitty34877 so appreciate your kind use of blue bubbles and multiquotes It makes it so much easier (and shorter) when I read later in the day. I know it takes extra effort but it’s appreciated!
  21. Good morning and thanks all! So sorry to hear @smitty34877 had another tough nite! Sending prayers for improvement. @kazu glad you are approved for travel, the joys of air travel, sigh! Hoping all the appointments go well! Will wish my DB, my only sibling a great day. He was gone too soon at 30 from a very aggressive brain cancer.
  22. Such a great book! One of my relatives lost his life there. Such an amazing memorial, France gave the land to Canada, so eerie to see the Canadian signs there.
  23. Good morning and thanks all! A special shout out to Vanessa who keeps such amazing lists, in spite of dealing with such health issues, hugs! @erewhon glad you had a good anniversary! Even though I am confused when you said yesterday, it was yesterday. We have friends in Australia and by the time we realize it’s their birthdays, they’re over. either way hope it was lovely! So many anniversaries in April, we also agree it’s a good time to get married! Wishing @ger_77 Maurice and Geri a very happy 47 th, love the photo! And love that you know where you were for all of them. @luvteaching sending you extra gentle hugs as you celebrate your birthday and what would have been your 47 th anniversary! Hoping good memories comfort you! Please no! Much better to get a legitimate count from your usually high quality posts. 🥹😂😉. Plus our friends in the west and down under don’t have to wade through so many posts. We enjoyed watching the eclipse coverage as the pinhole box didn’t work here. Many places in Canada experienced totality. So it was pretty cool to see it turning dark and that light again.
  24. IMO the Neptune is totally worth it, we’ve never regretted taking an upsell. Just don’t wait too long, they go quickly!
  25. Good morning and thanks all, particularly to Lenda and Sandi for the port photos, and Debbie, Dixie and Anne for the wine, drinks and dinner! What an auspicious day to celebrate!
