  1. Did not know that, could get a prepaid card, for that if you travel companion, use theirs.
  2. No, she can put cash on her account at the service desk. If it gets low or she needs more they will notify her about that. There are more people than you think do it like this, even though they have a credit card. There are many valid reasons for doing cash. Royal wants the money, they offer options.
  3. Correction, 0630- 1000, 1100-1800, 2100- 0130 as of 01/22
  4. Don't hold me to this, things change and March is a ways off. Last time on Brilliance, not long ago.. Breakfast 0600-0900 Lunch 1500-1815 late night 2100-0100. Each sailing can be different, and changes can occur during sailing as we were told by the head of the department.
  5. You are correct, I got hung up on T3, always brilliance, forgot the other, my error.
  6. There is covered parking across the street from the terminal. Has elevators. Drop luggage first then park. Google it, directions are easy. Cheaper if you reserve on line. There is the outside as Wimeaux7 said also. Have used the inside all the time never used the outside. You pay the porter 20, he will take you across the street, when you get back. You want to get out fast in the terminal coming back, use a porter.
  7. They are still able to sell stuff, but no check in. You can use cruise planner all day long
  8. It is an RC problem not ours. Last thing I got was checkin at the pier, have a good day.
  9. The concierge, in the concierge lounge, across from the Viking lounge, up on 12. It may be listed in the compass, service desk knows. I have been having trouble finding who it is. We get on the ship Oct.30, and we know it is not the same one from the last cruise we had. I know this is a pain for you to do. If you do find who it is, ask f they will be on on 30 Oct. Don't worry about it if it is a hassle, this is really more than I should be asking. I have come up empty with all other avenues, so thought I would give this a shot. RCCL does not know, after being on hold.
  10. Sorry to bother you, could you e-mail me the name of the concierge that is on the ship after you board. We would really appreciate it. smcgothlen1202@gmail.com. Thanks a lot. Take care and have a great cruise.
  11. I have been pretty lucky then, I always ask, even if I know I won't take it.
  12. You can upgrade anytime you want, f they have what you want, TA can do it for you. You can upgrade at check in if cabin is available, which we have done, risky, yes but, can make some deals. All they can do is say no, does not cost anything.
  13. Anyone have a list of the concierge on the ships, specifically the Brillance
  14. Good for you all. It AWAYS PAYS TO ASK, does not cost either. Congrats.
  15. I never have been able to beat my TA's prices and perks, even with RC
  16. to be safe always ask, doctor, pharmacy, etc. We wore them once on first cruise, whole patch and it was too much, we never wore again. many cut in half, some open package a day or 2 before to let it weaken . it really was bad after we got off the ship after wearing 7 days.
  17. We made the deal at checkin when we asked. Most ships have a passenger limit, which means some rooms are still available even though the ship is not full of people. Either the ship is not full or a suite has not been purchased, for example. Cruise line gets a little more money from you and you get a deal. You never know unless you ask, we always do. One other thing, on rare occasions someone does not show up, and no refund is going to happen, perfect storm, you fall into an owners suite for 250. As I said, rare, but it happened to our friends after boarding because they asked and they took their name and cab #, called after sailing and they did not mind moving. We all enjoyed the suite.
  18. it won't be there when you try, no matter when you try.
  19. if inside is OK, then take a shot for a balcony. We have done this and had some luck in the past. Checking in, I always ask, is the ship full, if not a deal may be there. we have got some good ones, I mean good, in the past nothing to loose.
  20. When you were in Ravenna did you have a need to get tested and if so where did you get tested Thanks in advance
  21. Anybody do the covid test in Italy, specifically in Ravenna, prior to the cruise? Does RCCL accept their results, Cost 15 eu.Hotels will make res. for you.
  22. who was in charge of the concierge/suite lounge, his name if you have it, thanks.
  23. I know there are no guarantees with anything. I have had luggage problems, a2s got it to me, airline no help. I have had RC uber me to the ship, when the flight was late and shuttle service was done. I have had friends flown to the next stop after the ship sailed because of late flights. Air2Sea has been there a lot of times that I personally know of. Nothing in this world, but 1, is a sure thing, but A2S has worked for me and many cruisers I have met. I take promises and guarantees with a grain of salt. I go more by service and experience that have been proven to me. I am not promoting A2S, but it has always worked for me.
