  1. This is a crazy question, but I have to ask. I want to use chat without purchasing RCI internet wifi. I’ve read on here you can use chat for free now, and you do not have to purchase RCI wifi. One of our iphones is an older iphone and does not have an internet provider, but if I downloaded the RCI App, will I still be able to access chat? Was going to give the kids the old phone just to do chat. Has anyone done this? TIA
  2. Just add it in the notes, when you book it. RS will call you to set up a time, no problem.
  3. It has been available on all the ships we’ve been on in the last year. See my post about all the specifics. Post #1.
  4. Yes. Cruise personalizer, onboard services, food and beverages.. you’ll see UBD and UBB. They are limited on UBD, so I would book ahead if possible. Also, it could go up again. You could also wait until OB if you are using OBC. But, of course, availability is a factor. You can put the date and in the note section, I put the port, date and time I desire. Now, once OB, RS will call and verify the date, time, drink choices and any allergies you may have.
  5. Arriving at that time should be a breeze for you. The mad rush will be over, I hope. They did do away with the arrival times, although they weren’t followed anyway. But, as true to form, the website and emails are full of old information. Have a great cruise!
  6. We hate lanyards. Our favorite and most comfortable are the silicone type bracelets from Princess. Inexpensive and purchased OB. They have other types, but these were soft and didn’t bother us. So easy to scan off and on the ship.

  12. Yes, I agree. My CVP can do a refare after FP, but my TA says he can’t. So, just wondered. Good for you.
  13. If you had done all the check in requirements on the App, green checks for your documents and information, chose your medallion wearable etc and in the Green lane… Then you ARE ocean ready. It’s the App/IT…not you. Don’t lose sleep over this.😉

  15. Yes, has to be declared. Wonder where her final destination is? I’d take a mix, maybe $10K in cash and the rest a check. It’s a casino check, right? Not a PCL check weeks later, I hope?😆
  16. They are probably still trying to do updates with the shipping as well as other parts of the App. I’d just sit tight for few days and see if it corrects itself. See if they make any changes to shipping for Canada in the next week. Who knows?

  18. Help! I would like fixed dining for a family of 5 in a MDR Harmony in Feb, early seating. Do I need to download the App? How do I request it? It’s been a while since I’ve been on RCI.. Appreciate any help. TIA
  19. Has anyone checked in and boarded out of Galveston recently? Are they strict on arrival times there? Using Harmony in February. When can you pick arrival groups? On the App? Haven’t sailed RCI in a while. TIA
