  1. Sadly, that information is outdated. No drink package anymore and the free massage turned into a discount on massage.
  2. Availability of drinks on aurea sun decks depends on season, occupancy and weather - ranging from nothing up to some kind of mobile bar.
  3. To my knowledge free access to the spa is still included with aurea, but you don't get a free massage anymore (just 40% discount on pre-paid, as JAGR said).
  4. This is from MSC's german website, hope you get the meaning: points per cruise are given depending on room category and duration of cruise (for example: 1500 points are given for 5-9 nights in YC or more than 9 nights in aurea) Erlebniswelt Kreuzfahrten < 6 Tage - 5 Nächte Kreuzfahrten von 6 bis 10 Tagen - 5 bis 9 Nächte Kreuzfahrten > 10 Tage - 9 Nächte Bella 200 Punkte 500 Punkte 700 Punkte Fantastica 400 Punkte 700 Punkte 1000 Punkte Aurea 600 Punkte 1000 Punkte 1500 Punkte MSC Yacht Club 800 Punkte 1500 Punkte 2000 Punkte In addition to this, one gets 100 points for each 150€/$ spent on board or services booked in advance.
  5. As Genova is a rather small airport, MSC offers transfer from/to airports in Nice and Milano as well, just ask them or your TA.
  6. 1) Usually an area of MDR is dedicated to Aurea guests, where you can go anytime during MDR opening hours. You may get the same table each evening, if available und you like it. (If a ship is really fully booked, there might be restrictions - e.g. once on Splendida we were supposed to come the same time each evening - were asked for preferred time on embarkation) 2) No drink package included with aurea anymore (that's why we booked YC first time for next week´s cruise). If you book a drink package, number of drinks is not limited.
  7. We have cruised in Aurea suites and cabins on YC ships (Splendida, Meraviglia) and non-YC ships (Poesia) and did not find any noteable difference between the Aurea experiences there.
  8. afaik the Fantasia class YC restaurant was originally planned as a specialty restaurant.
  9. Upstairs there's just an emergency exit from the walk-in closet. We had this suite in 2017 (it didn't belong to yacht club then), can't remember strong wind on the balcony (it has a windshield) or too much sun in the room (one may have to close the curtain, though). The suite itself has a really good size and layout for a family of four, balcony could be larger (no table, just the jacuzzi and loungers).
  10. You mean it is not the "MED by MSC" signature perfume? We really do enjoy this smell... Looking forward to our first YC cruise next month.
  11. No drink package anymore for Aurea bookings, regardless of status and cabin typ.
  12. You can choose any other insurance if the same risks are covered: https://www.msccruises.co.uk/manage-booking/before-you-go/covid-travel-insurance COVID-19 TRAVEL INSURANCE It is mandatory for all guests to have in place an insurance policy that specifically covers them against COVID-19 related risks, such as cancellation, interruption, repatriation expenses, quarantine, medical assistance and related expenses, as well as hospitalization. This should be in place to cover you from the confirmation of your booking until the end of the cruise or your cruise and flight package. Should you need COVID-19 insurance cover, our travel insurance partner may be able to help you. You can see the policy benefits available here to see if they are of interest and benefit for you. Alternatively, you may purchase another insurance coverage of your choice provided that the above risks are covered. With immediate effect, for all new reservations on Winter 21/22 and Summer 2022 cruises. Guests will be required to provide evidence of their insurance policy and this should include the details of the insurer, the insured amounts and full details of the COVID-19 coverage such as cancellation, interruption, repatriation expenses, quarantine, medical assistance and expenses, and hospitalization. The proof of the insurance policy (e.g. certificate, schedule, policy summary) which must be in English, Italian, German, French or Spanish - clearly showing the COVID-19 coverage must be presented at embarkation. Passengers failing to provide this documentation will be denied boarding.
