  1. Is the wastebasket not attached to the inside of the door under the sink? I didn’t have a Haven cabin but that is where mine was.
  2. Did you book it yourself online directly on the NCL site? You would need to check the accessible stateroom box to even see the accessible rooms. It will give you a warning that if you do not have a disability, you will be moved. You need to confirm that you have a disability.
  3. They were not the week before Christmas. I don't understand why they won't allow it because it will open up more seating. Too many people sat down, saw the limited menu, got upset and left.
  4. Agreed. The size of the ship and the number of venues spreads the crowds out well. I didn't feel it was any more crowded than any other size ship I have been on.
  5. I would do another Oasis class ship on Royal. We did a winter cruise on the Oasis OTS and loved the ship. So much to do and I think Central Park is the best area on any cruise ship. Its so nice to sit and have coffee in the morning there or sit and have a drink and listen to music at night.
  6. That is a wheelchair accessible room. The only way to book that room is to select that you need an accessible stateroom. You will get this warning if you try to book it.
  7. You can also book online or through the app.
  8. NCL stocks the Premium Plus wines at the bars closest to the main restaurants. I would try either the Mixx Bar or the Prime Meridian Bar.
  9. Yes. There are no reservations so you can go in at any point. Its just a music venue. You will have people coming and going so you could find a seat once a group gets up and leaves.
  10. There will usually be $10 tables for all card games. Yes. You should be able to get reservations on board. Log into the app once you get on board and more options will pop up.
  11. It's crazy right now. I was wrong about half. It would need to come down more than that. I just did a mock booking for next summer and a oceanview balcony for 2 is running over $8k. I will not spend $16k for balconies. I can get a 2 bedroom Haven on the Escape the same week for $13k.
  12. The Icon is like the American Dream mall in Jersey and I can't wait to sail on her. Just need the pricing to drop in half.
  13. If you ask for the same table and it’s open, they will normally seat you there but it’s not guaranteed and you can’t ask for it ahead of time.
  14. Yes, you pay the difference plus 20% gratuity on the difference, ie a $17 drink would be $2.40 extra.
  15. Drink package is for drinks up to $15 but if something is more expensive you just pay the difference. There is no daily limit like Carnival and you can get two drinks at a time. The package doesn’t not include water, specialty coffees, fresh juices or energy drinks. If you want those included you will need to upgrade to Premium Plus. Most drink will be included unless you like higher end whiskeys and wines. At the al a carte restaurants, the dining package will get you 1 appetizers, 1 soup/salad, 1 main entree, 2 sides and 1 dessert. For the smaller plate restaurants like Food Republic and Nami sushi, you can choose any 4 items.
  16. Would also need to know what time of year. NCL sends most of its ships to Europe and Alaska during the summer season.
  17. The most popular are 7-7:30 and I have found that there are usually plenty of spots before and after that when I board.
  18. Translation: we don’t normally sail mass market lines because we don’t want to be around the poor people.
  19. I don't have dimensions but here are the capacities that Bird posted. Prima - 70 Breakaway - 175 Getaway - 127 Escape - 126
  20. Syd’s is significantly smaller on the Prima than other ships. It’s rumored that they are going to move it on the Aqua to make it bigger. I mentioned in my review that they should swap sides with the Improv and make the Metropolitan bar smaller.
  21. Well NCL went back to the rotating menus a while ago so you may or may not be disappointed.
  22. Confused why you posted it to the Celebrity forums. Did they cancel ports also?
  23. This is the space that Haven has set aside on the Prima compared to the Away+ ships: Bliss:
  24. For public areas, I feel like less space is reserved for Haven guests. There is no Haven Observation lounge. There is no large courtyard/pool. Haven guests pretty much have the back area 16 and a small sundeck on 17. On the Away+ ships, there are 3 stories of public space set aside for the Haven.
