  1. Juneau - All Tours - Juneau Tours and Excursions - Juneau, AK ISP - Glacier Wind Charters Haines - Kroschel Wildlife Center, The Experience - Takshanuk Mountain Trai Sitka - https://visitsitka.org/ - you can totally do it yourself or take a tour, I'm working on this port now. Big things are Fortress of Bears, Raptor Center and Totems at Nat'l Park/Forest Ketchikan - working on it now, very easy to do Totem Bight Park via public bus
  2. Juneau - Juneau Tours -whale watching/glacier combo tour Skagway - Chilkoot Yukon train/bus tours Ketchikan - DYI totem bight park and local town
  3. Go with Chilkoot, they are amazing. Much easier, they stop everywhere you would want to stop. We will be there in July as well and taking them for a second time - the Lake Bennett scenic tour. Amazing customer service, smaller groups, lots of fun.
  4. Thank you! She's awesome, sorry to miss her this summer!
  5. Anyone have update on the Sun? Anyone know where Hannah Han went?
  6. While I'm not Sapphire yet, I did get chosen to have dinner with an officer one night on the Sun this past March. It was lovely, included wine and a group picture of table for no charge. We sat with the Senior Linens Keeper and after a lovely conversation with him, I am now the proud owner of a size 2xl NCL bathrobe!!!
  7. Thank you very much Charles! Where can I purchase tokens at St. George? I will be there in November, taking the NCL Shuttle to St. George to catch the bus to the Caves. Or is it easier to purchase at Dockyard? Thank you for all your help, your posts have been very informative! Edited to add, found my answer! Thanks!
  8. Can someone confirm if the bus drivers can accept five dollar bills or is it coins only? I read the gov.bm page and it says no dollar bills accepted, exact change so just want to confirm if I can bring fives. Thanks.
  9. I did not see any taxis, only cars with signs of peoples names so I would guess they were all booked and so had permission to enter the port. Yes, you can walk out of the port I did see people doing that, but it would seem to be maybe 15-20 min walk. Taxis were outside the main gate. Best Ride Tours met us at the dock yes. I would say try to look at dock/port area on google maps to see the distance maybe?
  10. Hi, just visited Agadir on the Sun this past March. Are you talking about a free shuttle? I did not see any free shuttles in Agadir. We docked in a commerical port, very large. NCL has the big buses for their excursions lined up, then smaller private tour operators were allowed in. Very strict regulations for allowing cars/people into the port. I can recommend Best Ride Tour if you are looking for a smaller private tour, they were awesome.
  11. Anyone on the Jewel please tell Hannah that Lisa and Scott from the Sun say hello! She is awesome. I was hoping to see her again soon. Going on the Escape in November, will check back for updates when it gets closer.
  12. I want to say about $90 a person but my friend did not purchase directly from hotel, but from a vacation place. You should call hotel directly for best rate probably.
  13. You can check in your luggage and then walk around before boarding if you want, many people did just that when we took the Canaries cruise out of Lisbon last month.
  14. Yes, we were off by 845. People started getting off at 730ish. If you can check in early that would be great, we could not but we booked a tour and they held our luggage in car for the day and then we made it to hotel by 5ish.
  15. Another vote for Inside Rock Tour with Carl. We did the Ultimate tour last month and it was amazing. We had 3 vans full and everyone just loved it.
  16. Hi Len, if you take a tour that does multiple stops she should be okay but take Dramamine or equivalent. Try to sit up front if possible. I have terrible motion sickness and am afraid of heights but it was totally worth it and I did not get sick. Road to Hana just about did me in and this was so much better. Just don't look out the windows when bus is by the edge.
  17. We did Coco Reef last July. Pool was awesome. About 20 min taxi ride. Lunch is 3 courses - huge portions, so I recommend spacing them out throughout the day if you can. Drinks not that pricey. We did not go down the beach as yes its a steep staircase that looked very rickety, but we were happy wtih the pool.
  18. We used Coco Reef Resort last July. Took a taxi from dockyard. It was awesome. Includes 3 course lunch. HUGE portions. Drinks not pricey at all. Very few people there that day, it was lovely. Highly recommend.
  19. Just wondering what tour company you were thinking of using for the 2nd option?
  20. Just got back from a cruise stop there and we used Carl from Inside Out Rock Tours, we did the Ultimate Tour - 7 hours for 100 pounds per person. We had 3 vans full. Everyone loved it! Best tour ever!
  21. Just back last week from a trip there. I totally recommend a tour. Especially if you want to see the monkeys. The tour vans are there every day, they know the monkeys and can hand feed them peanuts. It was not lots of walking thanks to the van, they drop you off and pick you up at all the spots. I highly recommend Carl from Inside Out Rock Tours. We did the Ultimate Tour - 7 hours at 100 pounds per person, we had 3 vans. Everyone was delighted and raved about the tour. It really is amazing and we learned so much from the local drivers and got great pictures even with the monkeys!
  22. Highly recommend SDT. Just did 3 tours with them last week. Tenerife, Malaga to Granada and Cadiz to Seville. Great communication - sometimes took a day or two to respond but they are super busy. Emilia is awesome and made it quite easy to organize. I had 20-30 people on each tour - the key is to advertise repeatedly on your roll call and other social media sights. The pick ups and drop offs were timely, no worries whatsoever about missing the boat. Guides were friendly and informative. It was amazing and everyone is raving about the tours! Definitely will use them again for our cruise next year!
  23. We used Spain Day Tours just last week for this trip, wonderful experience! Highly recommend. Trip was awesome, we had a full bus of about 29 people. They split us up into 2 groups for a walking tour of Sevilla, then a guided tour of Alcazar, then time for lunch and shopping and back to port in plenty of time.
  24. Someone on my cruise has used them previously and said they were great. I just booked them for airport to cruise terminal transfer.
