If you want a table for 2 see the maitre d in the main dining room asap when you board. We thought we had a fixed reservation for 2 at 6 pm and found out we had been assigned to a larger table after checking with the maitre d on embarkation day. Thankfully, they were able to accommodate our original request.

There is a courtyard Marriott in Marathon that is very nice , a bit of a drive from key west , but great location if you want access to most of the keys. Also a lower price than most places in Key West. Just a thought.

Our last cruise on the Summit while at the solarium pool a group of kids got in for a few minutes , The lady ( celebrity crew member ) who was attending the solarium area went over and spoke to them and they left . We were glad to see the rules being enforced by the crew.

With the current price of airfares, it may be something Celebrity is considering.

Hi , On our 4 night cruise there was a comedian , a high energy production show , a female vocalist who we really enjoyed singing classic hits of Award winning female artists. Finally another high energy production show on the last night. They were several different musical groups performing, bands , duets and a solo . Also 2 DJ ‘s who were very good. Cafe Al Bacio is the specialty coffee bar and cafe , if you are a coffee, espresso , tea or hot chocolate fan you don’t want to miss this venue. They also have a nice selection of baked goods and treats available at no charge. I hope you enjoy the Summit as much as we did. 🚢

Hi Bill, Just back from a 4 night cruise on the Summit. There was lobster tail on the menu 1 night in the MDR. The cabin steward came to tidy up twice am and pm. Hope you have a great cruise 🚢

Just back off 4 night Summit cruise , I will be brief. My thoughts: Embarkation was a cake walk. ( Miami ) Food was excellent in both MDR for dinner, Oceanview for breakfast and lunch. We did not dine in the specialty restaurants. Cafe Al Bacio was outstanding. Entertainment was good , one evening We thought is was great. ( I know this is subjective) Crew was wonderful in each and every venue and interaction. Bar service , waiters , Ocean View staff ….. Debarkation was also a cake walk , facial recognition rocks. Once again ( Miami ) We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise 🚢

Sorry you suffered through this. Glad you are ok. The moral of your story , sadly , is you cannot be too careful or assume anyone will do what we believe is " the right thing " when these accidents occur. Did an excursion ( stingray city ) in 2001 in Grand Cayman , it was great. Did the same excursion in 2022 with my daughter and it was terrible.Both through Celebrity.

Hopefully, you never need to use the insurance coverage , but in the event you do , the coverage limits on the X cruise care are very low compared to the actual costs you may incur. Medicare does not help in most countries outside of the USA. The trip insurance store folks can advise you about the details.

There are lots of choices. Moderation works well. We have noticed that we actually walk quite a bit during an Equinox cruise going from point a to point b for different reasons, also the outside deck on level 5 makes for a pleasant walk during good sea/weather conditions. Even though it doesn’t go all the way around the ship , you can go to the end , cut through the ship and come out on the opposite side. Enjoy your cruise on the Equinox, great ship , wonderful crew.

Hi Wildcat, I know it sounds crazy, but when I drink the water onboard exclusively, my ankles swell up. If I stick with the bottle water for the most part , they don’t swell. Thanks for your response. Happy Cruising 🚢
