  1. Actually if it was shown that good entertainment makes passengers spend more because they are in a good mood and drinking that might work. It’s always tge bottom line, no?
  2. Did she sing Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini
  3. Nothing beats that guy on Princess singing children’s nursery rhymes.
  4. Actually I was so bored with the music I started singing in the elevator, so on the Mozart floor it was dadada
  5. Yes imagine how bored the performers are having to do the same routine. You can see it on their faces.each ship should have its own speciality, jazz, blues, rock, classical, Frank Sinatra
  6. I live down the street from a CFL stadium and every single type of game they play that over and over. I used to like Neil
  7. Yep so boring, we are being dumbed down. HAL needs to promote creativity instead of keeping the status quo. Same with art programs. Lots of interesting passengers sail with them so they should factor that in and stop worrying about branding. I remember the Oprah stuff with all that pricy merch. I was on Royal a while back and they had a baby grand in the lobby, think it was the Jewel, they announced that a talented young guy about 15 would like to play for guests. He was terrific.all these lines get stuck in the same old routine and don’t realize that many of us would like new ideas. If it doesn’t fly then drop the concept. We had a trans Atlantic with so many good performers, Marty Allen and his wife, the Osmonds, some lady from Britains got Talent, Jersey boys, the temptations Vegas act, so much fun.
  8. I was on in November and I just thought some of the songs were cheesy, Itsy Betsy Yellow Polka Dot Bikini? I am no spring chicken but that was yuch. Think one piano player playing some good jazz might be better. We were in one of the bars that had a piano but no live music so ai asked and the server said they cut back. Maybe one of the performers could play there.
  9. I need to get my mojo back as my sis says. Trying to work up ambition to get my business back on track.I was in business with my late son and since he died I have not been able to continue but needs must.
  10. Cacio e pepe is pasta with pecorino cheese served in a bowl,of pecorino with lots of black pepper. It is utterly delicious. There is a lovely little place in Trastevere that specializes in this. I have only found it in Rome, sigh
  11. I have a vpn that I use to keep up to date with my British tv. My big favourite is Strictly Come Dancing. Big controversy last series as one of the actors dropped out because of too rigorous training. The production numbers are really good like Londons West End. There was a deaf actress who won a couple of years ago
  12. Sorry about your husbands knee.I have the same issues and it it very challenging to get treatment. I also find the knee brace helps and I use a topical cream Kalaya which really deadens the pain. Don’t know if can get it in the States.
  13. The Trevinfountain was packed when we were there a few years ago. Could not get near it. Rome is so wonderful. Did you have cacio e Pepe?
  14. The Vera books are great, somet8mes the series is a bit too gory for me. The Magpie Murders is excellent, keeps you on the edge of your seat. Saw the new Traitors show last night. It’s pretty dark but fun. The only thing I watch on regular tv is football.
  15. I also love British cop shows. I am streaming new Fatger Brown series and it’s pretty good, better than last year.
  16. The ship,is the Koningsdam May 11 and thank you
