Good morning. It’s freezing here in Hamilton and the Luons won by a point! My sister called it. She gets a pedicure for that. I hope all are well and staying warm today especially the lovely people in New Brunswick, Saskatchewan and Alberta.

Good day from Hamilton and it’s very cold, minus 13. Decided to be German and made strudel and schnitzel. Had some good Pelee Island Merlot. The winds are whistling tonight here. Hope everyone on the lis is warm and well. M sister said it’s only three months til spring, watched Green Bay upset Dallas. I called it and won five bucks. I guess we are in the tropics of Canada compared to New Brunswick, Saskatchewan and Alberta. I wish I was cruising again. Hope Seasick and dh made it home okay. tomorrow is Buffalo and Steelers, Eagle and Buccaneers.

Wow what a great review! I also have a bum knee and am on Koningsdam in May for Alaska. I am renting a scooter and hope I can get around okay. Want to do the railway thing in Skagway as my husband loves trains. You really helped me with your review and acupuncture does help .

Good morning from Hamilton, afraid I have come down with either the flu or a cold. The weather is cold and sunny, expecting some snow flurries this afternoon. Hope kazu will be okay and sat safe n the storm. making mug cakes, saw Jamie Oliver make them on instagram and decided to try lemon mug cake. Too lazy to make regular one. we have had sprinkling of snow but no big storms. This is weird to see green grass out back. hope everyone on the list is well and prayers for those who are I’ll or undergoing treatment. think we are going to Alaska in the spring. I have a friend in Vancouver who wants us to visit so I am thinking to take the plunge and cruise up north. we had the worst take out pizza ever last night from Pizza Pizza.I mean frozen was better. I just didn’t feel like cooking. you know it’s time to ea healthy when pizza looks bad. everybody have a good day and keep,your nose clean, as my dad used to say.

Very sorry for your loss. We cruised after the loss of our son and Inwas unsure how it would be. What I found was that the passengers on the ship were very kind and easy to make friends with and it provided healing for us. We had other solo passengers at our table and we all enjoyed making new friends.

Just got off in December and loved this ship! Also we had room service breakfast every day of our nine day cruise and the pastries were delicious, had raisin buns, danish and croissants with little pots of jam. She’s a beauty.

Well here’s the thing. A lot of us view their cruise as a luxury and save up for a while to be able to sail. We want a good experience and no hassles, here for a good time not a long time. The idea of pets in the food areas bothers me along with others on this board and I feel it is selfish for a passenger to impose their pets and I fully support service dogs on the staff and others sailing. These are not service dogs.it must be extra work for the staff. I am just surprised that this occurred as know how fussy Hal is how excellent .

Thought you would like to know that I contacted the management at HAL about what you experienced.

Bon Voyage to world cruisers! Prayers to all not feelin well. Will be watching the cruise cam . how exciting for them!

I thought the doggie story needed more traction so I mentioned the situation on YouTube.

I would have spoken to them, good and loud. In fact someone would have had to come from guest services to quieten me. Maybe embarassing guests who have no respect for other passengers who have paid and were looking forward to a quiet and enjoyable cruise would give them a clue that this is unacceptable on a cruise ship.

Hi I love bacon , all types including Keven Bacon and I am making plans for 2024 which will greatly improve my quality of life. These include not one but two cruises on Holland America ,something I had not been able to do due to family obligations and other stuff. I have been enviously eying the 105 day cruise on Zuiderdam but husband almost fainted when I mentioned this prospect. After I resuscitated him I mentioned the other cruises, knowing full well that his relief would propel me to final payment. anyway Happy New Year from Kathi and Ray and best wishes to all the lovely folks on this board!
