  1. So I Emailed RCLdining and their response was that they do not offer UDP on cruises of 15 days or more. Just FYI We will probably buy 2 5 nights. We usually do Chef's Table, but that is not offered either.
  2. So not into advertising, or not Into the lifestyle? Asking for a friend.
  3. So I guess he does not take most over the counter meds (as they use the same method) and many other drugs.
  4. A lot of countries do this, including Mexico. Most countries have different names, but really the same thing. Have tourist pay for some of the cost of entering the country
  5. 600 per HOUR in each direction - 1200 per hour total. Does not take 400 per trip, more like 36 each way per trip.
  6. IMO - Santorini is a port where a RC excursion is worth it. We were dropped off at another area before general tenders started to the area below the steps. The excursion ended at the top of the cable cars and we had a few hours on our own before before heading down to the tenders.
  7. We are booked on a 15 night Panama Canal cruise in April 2023. For Dining packages they are offering 3 and 5 nights, but we want to get the UDP? It's not sold out as we booked the cruise when it first came out and have been checking for the UDP at least weekly. Not really interested in buying 3 5 night packages as we use the wine discount most nights. Just wondering if they add to the cruise planner as time gets nearer (we are 10 months out). Also, there are very few excursions offered at this time, and I assume they will add some later. Thank you
  8. Why do people have multiple American Express cards? Just curious. We gave ours up years ago, saw no value.
  9. Wages in Mexico are about the same and I always wondered why there were so few Mexicans working on the ships. I would think transportation to the ship is easier as well.
  10. Is that a problem? That how business works today.
  11. Don’t think $750 is correct. Probably $75k. Dues about $1,500 a month. Pretty normal
  12. One of the guys in our golf group was playing golf 8 weeks after hip replacement. We did have to help him out of a few of the deeper bunkers.
  13. So I checked this am and there are now 3 dinning options. 15 night Panama Canal, and they just offered Chops+1, 3 and 5 night options. I was surprised no UDP or a longer package. Not 100% sure the UDP is a good idea for a 15 night cruise (thinking of my waist line), but would at least like to see the options listed
  14. We have a 15 nighter next April and no dinning options are listed. All say book onboard. All other planner items (beverage, internet, etc) are available. I check every few weeks, but assume they will post dinning options sometime before we board
  15. We have moved deposits a number of times and paid the $200 ($100 pp). Just seems like a fair charge. Otherwise, everyone would be booking a lot of cruises they may or may not sail on and cancel right before final payment. This can create a problem for RC. Since we always plan to cruise again, moving it to another sailing has not been an issue Plus, the policy is good for most cruisers, as cabins are not filled with people that really are not going to cruise - driving prices up and selections down.
  16. Every time we have had room service, the knock and hand you the trays outside the door. Easy to tip. They just don't come in your cabin
  17. I stopped using my RC CC about 15 years ago. Only 1 point for most purchases and a hassle using them. I mainly use capital one and get 2 points and very easy to use the points. And never have to worry about a certain number to use them.
