The cruise director on the bliss is in quarantine right now. No mention of ANY covid cases onboard by NCL though. Director is not working today I asked reception why and they said he is in quarantine.

I suspect the cruise lines willl never open up to unvaccinated cruisers. You may as well just forget about cruising.

NCL is 18-25. Not too sure about Royal but I don't think if it is 18-20 that they will have a problem with a 22 year old attending.

So am I when it comes to tech. Did you give receptionist access to your email like the password or did you get the test centre to forward the results to the hotel email?. We are using 2 separate email addresses one for each test both of which work now but I am concerned about losing access to the emails if I give the password over or if email provider does not recognise location or something like that. And I am also not confident about being able to contact my test firm to get the results forwarded.

I am having problems with the printing aspects of this with our thursday tests. We have changed hotels to a hotel that has a PC. The one we booked into didn't have a pc so we changed. I have decided to do the printing at work then join my father at the airport hotel with the negative results later.

So why don't you snitch on your fellow passenger who you think have cold or covid symptoms and see what kind of atmosphere that creates onboard.

The contact tracing isn't what you need to worry about it is someone grassing you up onboard for sneezing or coughing or whatever. If that happens no way out of it. That would be something to worry about. And if you want to avoid getting traced eat your meals in the buffet and get drinks from the atruim bar or whatever and wak away and give people a fake name. Are you prepared to go that far? If so good luck if not then just get on with it and take it as it comes.

We are getting tested beforehand May 19th for May 20th. What do you mean doing in manually? Handing it in on paper? I am sure we can upload the required Randox results. We have paper print outs of the vaccine passports whatever they call them. Will we not be able to check in online if we don't upload what they want?

What do you mean manually reviwed? They will be very hard to push to review anything with european gdpr legislation and 9 hour time difference in Seattle?

I doubt the U.S will ever lift the testing requirements at least not for non U.S citizens.

And if COPD was judged to be the cause of any health problems the family would likely lose their home to medical bills in the hundreds of thousands and be banned from EVER returning to the USA and ergo from cruising a third of the world or doing a world cruise. Is it worth risking that?

Do you need test given that you don't need test to return home now. If you do then bloom labs as posted would be good. With regards to getting to the ship subway and water taxi might be cheaper than a cab from near 59th and lex.
