Here is an interesting question given how this has taken and one can assume generated the media buzz they wanted it to generate do we think Royal could and would use a larger ship for a future ultimate world cruise like Anthem or Ovation or name your big ship within reason assuming ship would fit into ports

Has the tik tok blogger denied boarding in Brazil reboarded yet? There was a story online about him.

You know the T/A from Miami to Barcelona is it?
-
Perhaps they are trying to generate less laundry and therefore use less power onboard the ship? Or perhaps they have less below deck staff?
-
They used to the Hilton Midtown by east 51st street when we went last time with them. Though they may have change it out. It is a nice little run to red hook down the FDR into Brooklyn.

This whole story is so confusing because they still have not said how or who "smuggled" the cat onboard yet they say they found it in a guest cabin? This is what Bayley said which makes it seem like they do not know who did it.
Royal Caribbean Cruises president and CEO Michael Bayley put out a statement on Dec. 22 saying they “believe” a guest smuggled the small feline onto the cruise.
It is a joke as to how it got past security.

The problem is that in the UK (cannot say for other countries) the disabled "claim" has been abused by some for many years and Carnival UK (possibly other Carnival brands) have recently started to tighten up their rules.
And there was also the battery pack fire on P&O the other month as well and issues with these electric bikes at home going on fire. Not the same brand as the scooters but still that will have raised concern.

I was when I was on NCL last year. I think it is a long standing technical issue

Twice Ive taken pictures and went down to GS with them. Both times that’s all they needed to pay a visit to the cabins. Both times were for cigarettes.
What happened after you reported them and they WEREN'T thrown off the ship? You shouldn't do that to people you don't know you know. You never know how they will react. What would you have done if he had cracked your skull or shoved you down the stairs? Just asking a question.

The timing...it was late at night, past the ship set curfew for kids. I'm assuming alcohol was involved, we all knew how to get a drink or two at that age on vacation. However, at that time of night, you would think the parents would have been "home" also?
Like I said enforcement of these things on Royal tends to be poor.

I wonder if anything will change on royal after this? Like enforcement or will nothing change because they can't afford it?

So assistance, which is what the post you answered was about and which you seemed to indicate was just a zoo, is still there.
Good.
I know we had my father down for the assistance but whether Cunard or the terminal provided that assistance I cannot recall. But there are no seats I can remember not like at Southampton.

So no wheelchairs for those who need help? I am amazed that is so different from S'ton disabled assistance. Have things deteriorated that much in NYC cruise ports?
My father had his wheelchair assistance at Brooklyn that is all I remember.

I have no idea what disabled embarkation from kerbside is like in NYC as we [pre Covid] have always been in transit so have had terminal arranged disabled assistance but it seemed to work OK.
Post Covid, it works fine in S'ton so can't imagine it would be any different in NYC. If it has changed at all, it will be a tightening up as Cunard need to know who needs help onboard in the case of emergency and that in my book is a definite plus so is better.
To my memory of Brooklyn terminal there is no seating inside it was a just big zoo of people standing in line waiting to board the ship airport check in style. That was in 2022. There are or at least used to be seats in Southampton.

H, I am just looking for information on embarkation times and terminal in Brooklyn. We have a 2:15 boarding time but we probably will be at the port around 12:00.
My wife can't stand for any long periods. Will we be in a long line and is there a chance we can board earlier? I am pretty sure Cunard can supply a wheel chair so she doesn't have to stand long if they do put us in a long line
Thanks
You can probably buy a wheelchair for what 50 bucks if you wanted that would sort the problem for you. There is also a wheelchair line which I think you can go in but you might need to request assistance either way.

We can discuss emissions all we want but all this is cart afer the horse isn't it. The damage is done we used way too much coil in 70s 80s and 90s we can't change it with a few cruise ship or airline bans.

Are you referring to Queen Anne? She is meant to have the largest Chart Room in the fleet.
I was unaware of that I thought she was getting a bar with a different name a new name?

The Maiden Voyage is currently showing as Sold Out on the Cunard website so I wouldn't wait too long.
So this would likely be a cancellation wait list type of situation then? Assuming more cabins are not released? Which is assuming Cunard is holding some back and building up to full capcity over the first few sailings and not going for 100% or what they say is 100% straight out of the gate?
Thoughts, impressions, and observations for the World Cruise.
