Saturday in the evening board ship sunday lunch time. Board in the morning off evening 36 hours later 1 night nyc though I thought it was 48 hours morning to morning. Doesn't make no difference with a 2 day requirement on train on the friday no changing that. I know nyc i know where to get tested the quieter places not times square or penn station or 5th avenue and the location of Fedex stores to get on the computer if hotel doesn't have room. I am sure a solution will present itself

Maybe Cunard will move the test date so we can test at heathrow morning of the flight with the on one day test done before.

FWIW I think the reason behind that is they have to manufacturer the hand held stamp machine every day for every offical and that is costly. I think they are cuttng costs.

Cunard booked the flights so will that information be available to see at the Brooklyn check in. I ask and I confess just thinking about maybe just altering the test result from our entry U.S test with Randox and just giving that to Cunard as we are going into Miami and train upto NYC and I don't thnink there is time to get tested not with our level of tech expertise no iphone etc.

Yes I think they put you in an inside or oceanview so you can't kill yourself because you can't handle being locked in the cabin or because you are facing thousands in bills for new flights and hotel quarantine.

Hang on a minute aren't NCL illegally detaining people by keeping them onboard past their booked date? And this outbreak has only been detected because the testing was required. And won't those people kept on onboard now face a further 10 day land quarantine in Hawaii?

All I know was our fridge in the cabin this time was empty but for bottled water. And we are gold and got no champagne or sparkling wine bottle welcome back.

That depends if that quarantine is going to cost me thouands of pounds ashore which I can't lay my hands on very easily since we don't do interent/telephone banking and the quarantine cost would likely exceed our credit limit.

I think I caught it on onboard on that crossing. Never went to medical centre. Not a chance was I doing that. Ship was about 50% full so I heard and the cruise director caught it and that is why he wasn't working the last day.

Very true the CRUISE DIRECTOR on the Bliss was in quarantine the very last day of the crew and no reference was made to this at all.

The word Covid wasn't even mentioned on the Bliss during our trip.
