When Pauline's late mam was in hospital aged 92 after she fractured her hip and her dementia was getting worse she was only allowed home because Pauline's brother lived with his mam and we were there to care for her too. There was a couple of elderly ladies on the same ward that the doctor's would not let them leave because they lived alone and needed carer's. I hope everything works out for you both. Graham.

Thank you @Eglesbrech. We had a lovely church service this morning the first Sunday of Lent. We called at the cemetery on the way home and Pauline put fresh flowers on the graves of her baby brother and her grandparents.

It was lovely. It said £12.95pp but I was only charged £12.95 and got a Costa coffee included.

I appreciated you not mentioning us by name until we got home. We stayed in a hotel overnight on the way home so didn't get home till Sunday afternoon. It was a lovely surprise when you said hello in Ripples where we had just eaten an ice cream afternoon tea.
