  1. Hot and humid 75°F here at 22.18pm. Another hot day forecast for tomorrow. Most of us in the UK don't have air conditioning in our houses because usually we don't get continuous hot weather.
  2. In case anyone wonders the beach at the end of Father Davids sermon on you tube is Ryhope beach which is approximately 800 metres from our church. Pauline, her brother and her friends when she was a child used to go to this beach which was about a mile and a half from her mam and dad's house.

  8. Thank you Sandi. Your photos bring back memories. A buyer for my late mam and dad's house rang me while we were in Mykonos saying they would love to move in ASAP.
  9. Good afternoon and thank you Rich @richwmn for today's daily reports. We had a lovely church service this morning. I had to repost the sermon because the first link just produced words and no picture. It is 77°F and sunny but we have thunderstorms forecast for later this afternoon. Today's food is nice and the wine of the day is a favourite New Zealand Marlborough. We docked in Mykonos in November 2013 on Splendour of the seas when we cruised from Venice and visited Split. Kusadasi. Mykonos. Corfu. I hope everyone is safe and well and prayers for those who are not including Joy and Ann's husband's who I mentioned in my prayers 🙏 in church.
  10. I like the fact Epicurean is at the aft of the ship on Ventura and easy to get to from our aft balcony cabin.
  11. Before our first proper cruise in 2003 we took Pauline's late mam and dad on a DFDS Queen of Scandinavia cruise ferry in spring 2003 from Newcastle to Gothenburg Sweden. We might have been on the same crossing Roy @rafinmd We stayed in a Commodore cabin and had a cabin steward and mini bar in the cabin. Graham.

  18. Our taxi driver told us on June2nd because of traffic congestion at certain times the taxis who supply the hotels have agreed on a £10 fixed taxi fee which is good because if you are stuck in traffic you know what your taxi fare will be.
