  1. I sincerely hope your cruises are not affected. We visited Amsterdam on P&O Ventura in October 2022. Graham.
  2. London is 300 miles from us so we have no plans to go for the coronation. Unfortunately Harry can say anything and make millions of dollars out of his Royal heritage but Royal Protocol is to not comment back. Several new ships are coming to Southampton this year including P&O Arvia,MSC Euribia and Carnival Jubilee.
  3. We visited The Royal Yacht Britannia in Leith Edinburgh in 2012 and I'm happy to hear you have visited Britannia too. Harry's reputation has plummeted in the UK and the Royal family is loved here by a massive proportion of our population including ourselves.
  4. Thank you. P&O new ship Arvia is currently doing her second voyage which is a TA from Southampton to the Caribbean.
  5. Thank you everyone for your kind words of compassion and good wishes. Sarah was admitted into hospital this morning and when the surgeon saw her he gave her options for a dangerous operation or injections. She has opted for the injections which he said will be done in 1 weeks time as an emergency instead of 16 weeks normal. As well as the slipped disc she has Cauda equina syndrome.
  6. Thank you. Sarah is Pauline's sisters daughter but she has been like our daughter all of her life. Her mam and dad have not communicated with Sarah or us for 7 years.
  7. Thank you for posting all of your fabulous photos Lenda. Graham.
  8. Thank you so much everyone for your kind words and support for Sarah, Pauline and myself. It means a lot that so many people are so lovely. I will update when Sarah has her injections. Graham x
  9. Thank you for today's lists Roy and your kind sentiments towards Sarah. The surgeon said he would treat it as an emergency and to get her the injections in 1 week when the usual waiting time is 16 weeks. Graham.
  10. Thank you Melanie. Sarah was diagnosed with. Cauda equina syndrome as well as the slipped disc.
  11. Thank you so much MJ for your kind concerns and good wishes. I'm sorry you have had back issues for years. She has been to a chiropractor several times. Graham.
  12. Thank you Charlene. She has to go on a list and come back for the injections. Sarah asked him if it was him would he have the operation and he said no because of the high risk involved.
  13. Thank you for your kind words Sandi and for posting your amazing photos. Graham.
  14. Thank you Dani. Please thank Rory too and send him my best wishes. She has just seen the surgeon on the hospital ward and he has explained the high risk operation or injections and rest. She is worried about the operation so is seeing about the injections. Graham.
  15. The surgeon has just been to see her and explained her options. High risk operation. Injections in her back. Total rest for a couple of months. She is worried about the operation risks so she told him she would rather have the injections.
  16. Good afternoon. Our Sarah is on a ward in the hospital and it seems she might have her spinal operation today. Thank you everyone for your kind concerns yesterday. Thank you Roy @rafinmdfor keeping this amazing thread going while Rich @richwmnis on a well deserved fantastic world cruise. Thank you Dixie,Ann and Debbie for all your amazing food and drink descriptions. Good collection of days and excellent quote. Take care and stay safe friends. Graham.
  17. Sarah has been in touch with the hospital and as soon as a bed is available they are going to admit her. Graham
  18. Thank you. When she had a fit in her office she fell against a desk and chair. Hospital are going to admit her for an operation and she is waiting for a phone call from the hospital to say a bed is ready for her. Graham.
  19. Thank you Sharon. I'm so pleased your dear daughter outgrew her epilepsy. Sarah's epilepsy didn't start until her early 20s and she has had brain scans and increases in her medication. After her MRI yesterday Sarah and Pauline sat in ER for several hours as the hospital wanted a spinal consultants opinion but that would have meant sitting for another 12 hours before he came back on duty. Sarah was desperate for sleep and it is lack of sleep which triggers her fits so we took her home late last night so she could sleep and she is in touch now with the hospital to see if they want her to come back for an operation and we are ready to go and take her there. Graham.
