During my thread on Arvia I said we ate 3 times in the Beach house as well as 6 times in Epicurean,4 times in Sindhu and once in The Limelight club where we saw Joe McEldery the 2009 X factor winner. I had the lava block steak every night in the Beach house. VID_20240616_183826.mp4

Our last Royal Caribbean cruise was January 2023 on Oasis of the seas out of Miami and I booked the 7 night ultimate dining package. The food in Chops Grill. Giovanni's 150 Central park was excellent but twice the price of P&O.

Our last 8 and next 5 cruises are on P&O. We always pre-book all of our dinners in the Speciality restaurants. I cannot stand for more than 10 minutes with my hip arthritis so queuing is difficult and we don't mind paying for the better Food. Service. Ambience. in the Speciality restaurants and not having to queue and sitting where we want. The food is good at lunchtime in the MDR and we ate there 9 times out of 14 days on our Arvia cruise. Unless you want to eat at 5.30pm in the MDR which you can book on the my holiday app you have to go onto a virtual queue on the My holiday app or take your chance in the No reservation queue.

@Windsurfboy. I enjoyed reading your review and comparison with Saga and Cunard. For us Saga and Cunard are not on our radar. Our 3 main cruise lines are P&O,Princess and Royal Caribbean and speciality restaurants food wise P&O come top. Loyalty benefits wise Royal Caribbean easily top followed by Princess then P&O. We always sail in balcony cabins and IMO P&O Top. Best wishes. Graham.
