  1. Specialneedsatsea.com or scootaround are 2 companies most people use. The scooter will be delivered to your cabin. You can call or book online. Usually want to do at least 2 weeks before the cruise.
  2. I usually put dirty clothes such as socks, tshirts, underwear into the paper bag they have hanging in closet that is to send clothes out to be washed and keep it in bottom of the closet. Then I pack that bag and wash when I get home.
  3. We used Avis last March when we needed a large vehicle to fit all our luggage and it worked out pretty well. Last year we dropped off the kids (grown adults) and luggage at the port first then we returned the car at avis and took Uber back to the port. One tip, we drove all over looking for Avis it is hidden on the back side of a garage and car wash (signage is poor). We almost did not make the 1 pm cut off time to return the vehicle as noone was answering their phone when we called for directions and kept circling the area. Until I finally stopped at a gas station and they told me it was in the rear of the building across the street.
  4. I had checked transbridge website yesterday before I reserved our rental car and they still have service to Bayonne suspended. Not sure why. https://transbridgelines.com/pier-services
  5. WOW -- that's more than $1000/day for a GS. I guess what I read this morning was wrong in saying there wasn't much left for the entire 4 legs. Curious, are any of the OV cabins in section 4580 thru 4590 open for the first leg? Do you see them or do you have to call to find out?
  6. I saw a note in their world cruise site said they will try their best if you book all 4 segments but impossible to guarantee now that they have opened up booking various segments to others. If someone wanted to be in same cabin for the entire cruise I hope they booked much earlier than now. From what others are saying they have a limited number of cabins available. Suites were all sold out a while ago. Final payment is due in June so maybe some will open up then.
  7. Just finished check in for our March 26th cruise with Chris and Donna (their wedding present). Woot Woot!!! I made reservation yesterday for a mid size SUV to drive to Bayonne (drop off minutes away from pier) that will fit luggage for 4 adults. Found it odd that the rental price to get there was just over $150 but only $50 for the return. Still better than paying for parking for 2 vehicles as none of our cars would hold everyone's luggage.
  8. The most we have ever done was 28 days and it was on Serenade. I could have stayed on but hubby reminded me we had work and lives that we had to get back to at home. Plus our kitty kats
  9. Oh what a fun surprise! I have always loved going to Sea World. Just fit in as much as you can. Lots of walking but lots of fun things to see and do. I always love aquariums, their rescue area is very informative too. If she enjoys Sesame Place - there is area called Sesame Land where she may meet several characters.
  10. @Jimbo I didn't want to interrupt one of the other threads where you are asking about pricing for the world cruise. If you go to this link you will the cost for the entire world cruise and prices for the 4 segments. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/ultimate-world-cruise/ I would love to do the first 62 days. That itinerary looks amazing.
  11. here is the link to bermuda government site. the travel authorization form and fee of $40 ended in November 2022. https://www.gov.bm/coronavirus-travellers-visitors
  12. There's white night, but never heard of white hot dress party.
  13. If I have a choice for when to have my once a day service it would be nighttime. I like to have fresh towels, wash rags, after showering and get my paper copy of the cruise compass.
  14. When you sent your email did you include your booking number and names? Just making sure. Anthem has 4 dining rooms. We usually request American Icon.
  15. I have emailed them in the past and do not always get a response or a get a generic response acknowledging they received they email and are working on it. The good news Everytime I got the request that I wanted even though they did not confirm via email. So just hang tight - you should be just fine. Worst case you go to the host of the MDR when you board and ask about your table then.
  16. Beautiful story and photos! Happy Anniversary and best wishes for many more years of love, joy and happiness❤️💐
  17. I hope you had a great cruise with perfect weather. Any pictures to share? Always love to see sunrise or sunsets too!
  18. My very first concert was the Osmonds when I was 8 yrs old and saw them at the Allentown Fairgrounds. My first official concert was The Grateful Dead Add to my list of concerts: Robert Plant (just wasn't the same as Zeppelin with Bonham) Genesis with Phil Collins was another great show The Cars Journey Eric Clapton U2 - also a great show Chicago Probably some others will pop into my head as we use to go see concerts at the Allentown Fair every fall when the annual state fair was held. They had some big name stars and a nice small venue.
  19. No worries at all about noise in these cabins. We have stayed in these cabins on both Serenade and Jewel and have always enjoyed the private hallway since there are only 6 or 8 cabins in this section. there is a glass door at the entrance to the Centrum from this section that you can close if it is not closed. But even with it open you still won't hear noise. Hope you love this section as much as we do. Great location!! Enjoy The huge window is also very nice. I stored my books and backpack on the window ledge.
